Lavezzi is not a rumour right? Just a crush for Congo?

Summary of all 19 departures so far (including co-ownerships). Galliani must be on crack never worked this fast before. Hopefully Birsa, Mexes, Binho, Matri, Essien, Constant, Zaccardo, Niang join them.

Kaka (St. Paul, c.), Emanuelson (s.), Amelia (s.), Paloschi (Chievo, rc), Nocerino (Turin, p.), Bertoni (Carpi, rc), Lora (Citadel, rc), Perucchini (Lecce, rc), Piscitelli (Benevento, rc), Salamon (Sampdoria, rc), Saporetti (Cesena, rc), Valoti (Albinoleffe, rc), Santonocito (s.), Traoré (Bursaspor, d.), Taarabt (QPR, fp), Rami (Valencia, fp), Silvestre (Inter, fp), Boateng (NAC, fp)

Urby, Amelia - Contract expired
Paloschi - bought out by other team
Rami, Taarabt, Silvetre - their loan expired

Anybody could do that, you could call in sick or never show up for work and do that.

The youth players dont count much either because they have some talent and will get a chance at lower teams that want them.

Traore and Nocerino - only time he actually did something

If we sign iturbe to 2 mil a season for 28m that's 34m in 3 years

If we sign lavezzi at 4 mil a season for 15m that's 27m in 3 years....but with barely any re-sale value....

It's interesting to me that you're one of Galliani's defenders, but like the evidence of his horrible transfer work rests in the fact that there are ten or so players on our roster that we have to beg clubs to take on one year loans.

Why is it interesting?

I've seen this happen before as well with Galliani (the big wage extension problems) and it took time for the mass exodus. The difference between the past and present is simple, we have less talented players now so its more difficult to get rid of but I simply dont get why he doesnt insert clauses or just terminates more contracts. Im fully aware it will cost us a bit of money but for example, if we release one and terminate one then it could balance out for the books and we get rid of two players at once.

Anyways, I dont mind the loan but what irritates me is that we end up paying for half the wages or so and we losing out massively this way. The players that need to go out on loan aren't and the players that need to depart are going out on loan. Last time it took about 4-5 years for the whole lot to clear-out but then a fodder lot was brought in with some key replacements. Expecting something similar in a year or so. Im still happy though as long as we stay competitive.

Berlusconi: "I was about to sell Balotelli for €35m to an English club before the World Cup, but who will buy him now?"

Hahahahahahahahahaha
------------

I still have hope for Iturbo. Moggi's words are very encouraging for Milan

I think juve should just sign a temporary winger like nani or something for the next year or two and wait for berrardi to be ready

No sane president would say something stupid like that about a key figure of milan.

Shots fired at Galliani.

Could this be real? wow.

How? Perhaps I am not reading too much into it but if he actually said that, then to me its a direct attack on Balotelli i.e. the rotten apple!

Silvio isn't sane, we all know that. Knowing him, he said it. And the funny part is, people here were saying how Balotelli performed well at the world cup.

This could be both good and bad. We could be stuck with him and he could be great next season. Or the fact that we can't sell him also means we can't buy.

Magic word is 'key'. As far as it looks, if this statement is true, Raiola is given permission to find his client a new destination. Otherwise, if Balo stays, he will have to earn it on training to start for Milan.

Think the age difference between Iturbe and Cerci is wildly overstated. The simple question is, assuming a 4-5 year contract, would Iturbe stay for those 5 years and possibly finish his career here, or will Milan be a stepping stone to something bigger? Personally, I'm inclined to believe the stepping stone. Now, excluding future sale value, is present Cerci better for the club than present Iturbe at roughly half the cost? Upside and future earnings are sacrificed for direct projectability.

The only young player recently available worth 25-28 was Thiago and we shit the bed on him. For 28 M, we could likely buy Cigarini, Arteta and Cerci, which makes us better than one Iturbe IMO.

So why are commoders opposed to using analytics to make decisions on building the team?

Numbers are the predictor of illuminati. Haven't you seen The Winter Soldier? It's Zola's algorithm coming to life!

... Jesus Christ from Nazareth on his left chest.

Where else would he be from?

"Hi, Rao's. I'd like a reservation."
"Name?"
"Jesus Christ."
"Dio mio!"
"No no, I'm Jesus Christ from Palm Springs, not Nazareth"

I think Balotelli will go to Monaco or Liverpool to replace Falcao or Suarez when those deals get done. I don't think Arsenal is out of it yet either.

very likely but this quote does remind me of one of his earlier quote to a Milan fan earlier this year in some political gathering... "you're sad Milan is not doing well? Imagine me, I am pumping 50m annually into it"

Regardless of how just be grateful they've finally gone. Every departure means wage savings freeing up valuable transfer funds. We've saved c.30m gross wages on departures. Old Galliani would've renewed Urby/Amelia and kept Traore/Noce around for rainy day.

Nocerino would never survive a rainy day. Can you imagine how much water would get trapped in that beard and then drain out throughout the day? He'd be a slip and fall lawsuit waiting to happen!

I have no problem if we loan players where we all know they never come back but if I hear about Milan pay half of Nocerinos wage I´m getting sick
