Like, do we go full fuck it mode next season and bring Galliani and Carlo back?
No whole season is too much for Adriano at this time . He might qualify for cl with monza while gifting millions of points to his beloved Milan.

Adriano helped us too much this year

Obviously most of us know de zerbi from his time managing sassuolo. But the most impressive thing I knew about him was the fact he left them in 2021 and went to coach shaktar in Ukraine and had them in top spot in the league when the war broke up. That shows some ambition and not like other Italian coaches who’s comfortable just languishing in serie A. He has obviously improved again in premier league even praised by Pep on tactics side of things. The only risk I see is if he can manage the pressure of a big club and the egos of the players, but it’s not like we have that many egotistical players in the squad anyway.
He also seems a genuinely fantastic guy based on how his action when the war broke out

That's why Nagelsmann is the best coach to get. The pressure at a big club is different even without egotistical players.

De Zerbi just beat the shit out of Arsenal.
Thats a coach I like

when he got waxed against a mid table team you didn’t post a thing

How does our squad fit De Zerbi or Nagelsmann’s preferred tactics?

I would be more careful with De Zerbi. Potter had a great start with Brighton, and look how the story turned out at Chelsea. It is different to coach a midtable club compared to an elite team. His Sassuolo also wasn't anything extraordinary, not better than the di Francesco team, or the current Dionisi team. Until proven otherwise, I consider this Brighton as a Leicester-lite, one season wonder cinderella story.

I would prefer a coach who has an experience at the highest level. Luiz Enrique, Nagelsmann, or Pochettino would be my go-to move.
First, this Milan team is not elite. We would get absolutely annihilated by Brighton if we played them tomorrow.

Secondly, he had his Sassuolo play breathtaking football Pioli could only dream of with a far less talented squad. Same as what Brighton is doing now. One only wonders what he could achieve in this Mickey Mouse league that is Serie A.

Thirdly, Pochettino has been confirmed as Chelsea manager.

My point is we don’t need someone who’s coached the superstars of PSG and Barca. We need someone capable of forging a team into something greater than the sum of its parts, and for this De Zerbi would be ideal imho.

Probably because that 75,000 he had stolen from his trunk like an idiot was his entire bribe budget
Wasn't it like 10 000? Feels like that number increases every time you tell the story

Not sure what he actually does everyday except looking mighty weird.

Question is, De Zerbi has financial backing, his own control over the Brighton project AND the "prestige" of coaching in the EPL.
What would entice him to Milan? Why would he even want to come back to coach another team in the same European competition he's already in.

Inter’s curva insulted the team when they contested them and they turned it around. Milan’s ultras had a nice polite conversation and nothing will likely change.

Do you ever look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself: "Is this working?"

Even if Juve get docked 9 points I doubt that it will be enough for us to get the 4th.

So?? Bayern hired another fired coach after that (Tuchel). Guardiola got fired at Bayern. Ancelotti got fired from Milan and Real and Juve. Spalletti got fired from Inter. Sarri from Juve... What's your point?

I think a loan spell is in order for CDK. Germany or France… Maybe in the Netherlands.
Why loan him next season ?
So many positions he could be tested for.

"He does so well considering the circumstance".

Less than a year after Padre miraculously won a clutch Scudetto with kids and retirees.
You’re right let’s give Padre another season for old times’ sake and when he fails to reach top 4 next season we might as well keep him for another year until his contract expires in 2025. It is Padre after all :proud:

Rube is already 8 points ahead of us, even their penalty won't help us reach the CL if we don't win all the games until the end.

...which is very debatable at this moment. :head:

They just sold their best midfielder and signed two midfielders on a free

including James Milner

So not sure how strong the financial backing is

They'll be earning more in prize money in the EPL than whatever we have in Serie A.
Unless Gerry opens his purse strings, which most people here say he won't, then he ain't getting more money to spend at Milan than he would at Brighton.
Can't argue both ways just because you want De Zerbi here.

What we need for CL is Juve getting penalized and us winning in Turin. Hope they get their point deduction confirmed soon.
