Lol Leao renewing is akin to a Ponzi scheme which promises new investors huge returns but never pays out when they come to collect
Or similar to Kaka. He renewed then they sold him.

[MN] Probable lineup vs Merda: (4-2-3-1) Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Krunic; Saelemaekers, Brahim, Leao; Giroud.

at this point you just have to laugh

Inter’s curva insulted the team when they contested them and they turned it around. Milan’s ultras had a nice polite conversation and nothing will likely change.

My lineup vs Inter

View attachment 18706

Can replace Saele/Diaz I don’t mind but my worry with Diaz is that he’s too weak. Inter players are much stronger than him. Diaz at CAM yeah I’m sorry we will get overran again, need some physicality hence I choose Pobega

4-2-3-1 with Pobega as the AM is fine by me by the way. I mean really same shit anyway.

Do not put Pobega as the DM to distribute balls though, that’s suicidal as he can’t really pass.
I would go with Kalulu instead of the captain with the pussy declarations, then Vran instead of Pobega who is physical but lacks passing speee and accuracy; Vran has a better ball touch, can play the game of his life; I'm tired of seeing that we can't put straight 3 passes.
Anyway, the lineup is so predictable... we don't have 1000 choices.

Milan isn’t catching anyone in the top 4. Their only hope it stay 5th and stay as close to Juve as possible and wait for the point deduction.
It's looking very likely that Juve will get a 9 point penalty for this season. It's sad that we're pinning our hopes on this now as we had it all in our hands. Right now as long as we beat Sampdoria and Verona (lol) we can draw with Juve and still get 4th place, even if they win all their other games. Roma not winning today was very helpful.

I would be more careful with De Zerbi. Potter had a great start with Brighton, and look how the story turned out at Chelsea. It is different to coach a midtable club compared to an elite team. His Sassuolo also wasn't anything extraordinary, not better than the di Francesco team, or the current Dionisi team. Until proven otherwise, I consider this Brighton as a Leicester-lite, one season wonder cinderella story.

I would prefer a coach who has an experience at the highest level. Luiz Enrique, Nagelsmann, or Pochettino would be my go-to move.

I can't decide who Padre has tried to beat the hope out of more

You or Adli

Both still persevering is genuinely impressive

If Kamada is likely happening because he's free then we should prioritize Gündogan for experience in the middle. We need a high IQ player in the centre of the pitch. He would also raise Tonali's game over time when not initially benching him.

The big investment has to finally be on a serious CF. There's nothing serious about CDK. Nobody knows who the kid is, that now includes himself. He clearly can't get it up in R&B.

We need to finally see Gerry 'the owner' in action, not the portfolio manager.

Are we getting Kamada as a token Japanese attacking player for De Zerbi?

I think a loan spell is in order for CDK. Germany or France… Maybe in the Netherlands.

Yeah at this point I would assume Roma puts all their eggs into the Europa League.

potter had them in 4th place before going to chelsea. obviously not that significant at the time (6 games played), but it's not like it was a shambles that de zerbi completely turned around either. their midfield duo would probably walk into our starting lineup.

that glazing over here is a little bit too much

Seems like it was a much more positive interaction than getting washed up, curva called for all fans to come support the squad today.

It's not his fault.
Pioli’s? Why would you pay him in #10 spot again?

Maldini in Ibiza? Can Galliani come for three days and save this club?

Obviously most of us know de zerbi from his time managing sassuolo. But the most impressive thing I knew about him was the fact he left them in 2021 and went to coach shaktar in Ukraine and had them in top spot in the league when the war broke up. That shows some ambition and not like other Italian coaches who’s comfortable just languishing in serie A. He has obviously improved again in premier league even praised by Pep on tactics side of things. The only risk I see is if he can manage the pressure of a big club and the egos of the players, but it’s not like we have that many egotistical players in the squad anyway.
