Speaking on Bobo TV , Antonio Cassano spoke thus of Paolo Maldini 's probable farewell to Milan : "Maldini has done an extraordinary job at Milan, while this Cardinal reminds me of Pallotta from Rome, he only takes pictures and drama while Maldini should be kissed where "He walks. As always, these Americans arrive without understanding anything about football. I hope for Paolo that he can send them to shit and start over elsewhere, if he's not happy it's right that he goes away and that they stick with it."
Maldini to roma confirmed. Roma to win. The scudetto next year.

As the main striker or as third choice? As third choice, it's excellent business. Don't argue against that.

I prefer not to argue with you anyway. You've got a bad atttiude. No appreciation for who or what lead to this club being what it is. Our values.

Just look at your profile pic. Alexis acting like a scumbag. Fitting.
BOOM!

For all those expecting a streamlined efficient machine in the new Gerry Era I have sad news for you, this is cut throat capitalism and money talks. Youth will be invested in and sold to the highest bidder, we will slowly become a feeder club. It will be a regular stream of money for them and they will invest as little as possible to achieve top 4 every season. Just doing enough and the bare minimum to achieve this. Reminiscent of the Arsenal Kronke era.

They do not care about the club nor have it's best interests at heart they just want to line their pockets.

This is evident by using Maldini as a puppet for these big renewals and shafting him shortly after.

Business is business, most people understand this, however, the manner in which they are going about this is what is worrying

I won't be surprised if RedShit sell Leao and Mike now. With Maldini you at least expected some romance. It just makes too much fiscal sense to sell them if you really don't care about football/the club's sporting success

There are many many clubs that would happily overpay for both.

Gerry "I want to win always" Cardinale? I don't think so. But... summer is long, and we'll only know by the end of this mercato what to expect from Redbird going forward. Well, other than not fucking around.

It would be hillarious if official statement today is Maldini resta

There's surely a lot of explaining to do. But I don't expect anything verbal until the sackig has been made official. But yeah, this is not just a company that is getting a new management. This is a football club. The fanbase is just as important as your players, your staff and your stakeholders. Being in war with your base won't lead you anywhere even when you're trying to buy your way in their hearts as PSG, ManU, Arsenal, Tottenham and many others show.

That's gonna be Redbirds biggest task for now: Convincing the fans, the players and the staff that they're still in good hands – after ruthlessly sacking a club legend. That's gonna be fun to watch.

Roger Federer is the GOAT
we are talking about different things

1. did Paulo fuck up and does Gerry have the right to do what he did

yes

2. does Gerry have the obligation to make decisions that improve the state of the club

yes…

the 2nd one remains to be seen.

ill let you punch the wind on #2 before it does or doesn’t work out

Im not going to get emotional over this.

1. Maldini did not fuck up to the point that he deserves getting sacked. We were literally in banter era before he came in. He did so much good for us. Why are people obsessively picking his bad calls with Origi/Dest/Baka/Messias etc who were cheap and he had constraints in budget and ignore the good signings he’s made? Leao/Krunic/Tomori/Thiaw/Tonali/Mike/Kalulu./Bennacer and others?

Why are we ignoring that it was that he was the main man where his squad won a league title? All undone due to one bad Mercato? Not to mention he’s a legend and icon figure for the club who is huge for negotiations.

He did so much good work, we should be grateful to his work as well.

2. Yes and we hope it can turn out well. But I’m still salty at the way he fired Maldini and will always be. Our legend deserves more respect. I wish it was done with a bit more respect and less ruthlessly. I don’t want us to become a corporation where humans are pieces of business. With Maldini gone I’m worried about the human element and morale of the team.

We were celebrated by others in how we treated Ibra in his farewell and the next day we do this to Maldini. There are better ways to treat our legend and be more tactful. We are all shell-shocked and so are the players.

So I respectfully disagree with your first point. I don’t think Maldini fucked up to warrant a sack

This isn't about performance, if it was, then Pioli should have been fired first.

No proper owner of a sports team fires their championship GM after one bad year. And you know that.

This is negativity force's wishes, though. Pioli with more say in the market. I can't wait.
Maybe they thought Pioli was given a bad hand this season.
Every coach should have a say on the market or else its not fair to judge his work.

I'm really hurt about Paolo, but damn scrolling through the pages here makes me laugh so much.
Can't believe how grown ups can have such meltdowns, holy shit!

There isn't even anything official yet. Where/Who is team optimistic/positive? Please let me in, I don't want to drown in the negativity here.

I always supported General in his feud vs Qaas. Seeing his reaction to this Maldini sacking was shocking to me. He had a bigger heel turn than Stone Cold at WM17. I am officially in team Forza Qaas and fuck jenny coke now.
@General is a company man and always supports the boss no matter who he is or what he does.

We are about to enter the lands of U20 French African players

We need Vulture to guide us through these waters

I think this is going to be the summer of @VultureSheva . Lots of interesting insides on Moncada picks since iirc he's more of a Moncada guy, right?

Cardinale is cooking

International surprises? Handpicked by Moncada? Haha, this is gonna be a crazy summer. Buckle up guys

Guys and girls. All good the commode is alive and kicking it.

But do not forget to do your job/study.

More things important in life than calcio.

Just log off and catch up during the evening or something. Have a tea moment.
There is no returning from this

Enjoy the ride for... Marcus Thuram and Daichi Kamada.

Before Kamada became a Pioli choice people were openly threatening me that I'd have to answer for crimes against RnB if Kamada failed.

You want me to enjoy the ride for realistic transfers?
Pussy.

Accounting wise, 160m on a players sale could technically fund a 800m mercato (in terms of transfer fees), assuming all players are brought in on 5 year deals.

Whether it’s paid in one or 160 installments is irrelevant to the P&L (assuming of course that additional funding via debt doesn’t need to be taken up to fund immediate cash requirements)

It's doesn't work out like that. 160 mil of sales only gives you the 1st year of amortization of a 800 mil mercato! If you do a 800 mil mercato and fund it with sales, then you have to do 160 mil of sales every year for the next 5 years!!

Anyone laughing right now are the type of people that don't really have a true opinion.
No matter the case, they'll just go against the majority because that way, they can achievement some form of credit or guru status if the end result is miraculously successful.

They enjoy being wind up merchants too and probably don't get any joy from the actual sport and success of the club.
Rather they just love the fact that this commode is getting a page every minute. They live for this.
