Priority was Kessie? Last year our attack was Leao. This year? Leao.

Pioli is behind Lazio. La-zi-fucking-o.

We just lost to Spezia. He can't beat relegation teams. We can't score goals.

But Kessie was the priority.

If we had Kessie, the chances of us playing Diaz as CAM would have been much less as Krunic would play it or even Bennacer while Kessie/Tonali would be the pivots. That would allow us to still have more control in the middle of the pitch.

Kessie also played a crucial part in covering ground and defending a lot, which allowed Theo to help Leao more in attack.

Kessie leaving broke the system which hurt our whole team including our attack.

We all know that Pioli is very limited tactically, he can’t adapt to what he’s given. But if he still had his players, we’d see a better version of Milan.

If Origi was a better striker, we’d probably have a more fitter/rested Giroud to beat the low blocks or Origi could be linking up our attack better, if he was good.

It all links IMO.

But I need to emphasise, I blame Pioli more for our failures than the management, but I can’t deny the management didn’t back him well enough either.

I don't buy your doom and gloom about how shit a mercato we might have, Maldini knows what he has to do, and even on a budget we can make large steps forward this summer... And I believed we will move forward.

If Diaz is signed (I don’t see it happening) Pioli loves him like a son it would be a signing to appease Pioli. I genuinely hope MMM discuss it and send him back to Madrid. Milan have a better player for AM in Adli or can get a better player than Diaz for the asking price.

Origi is on MMM especially his wage of 4M it was always going to go south. As was Dest, Baka, and one or two other signings. Errors across the board all are accountable and need to work it better next season.

I’m not opposed to Arnautovic on a cheap deal but is this the time for it? He would be a good player to have if OG leaves. We need a main striker more at the moment.

We extended Oliver so we need somebody fast and can hold the ball in the center.

Get two CMs and put Adli in pirlo role and ask Tomori to get red card when somebody goes near him

I'm optimistic because nothings happened yet... People are stressing about the future that hasn't happened.

For all the bad signings there are equal if not more good signings... So we have as much if a chance at a great mercato as we do a bad one.

I don't believe lightening will strike two summers in a row.



I've spoke with my top guy and the maths adds up... It could be a gooooooooood mercato; as much a bad one.

That's why I'm opting to think we'll see a realistic mercato and Kamada fits in with that thought process. Save on him, address a hole, look at spending money on another hole with the saving, etc etc.
