What an emotion charged farewell for Ibra. The mercenary finds the impossible... home. You knew shit was getting real when Ibra started to tear up...😭

The love affair between Ibra and Milan is one of the most unique in football, perhaps, in all of sport's history. Ibra's journey is the quintessential Hero's journey; it was actually extraordinarily appropriate that he came onto the ground with the Gladiator theme blazing. Ibra starts his career conquering all, anywhere his services were needed, until he lands in Milano (red side) where he thinks he has finally found somewhere worthy to stay, worthy to fight for. In his words, "I felt happiness the first time". Then at his absolute peak in 2012, his now beloved-club crumbles and is forced to sell him off. He feels betrayed and jaded, and then is forced back to his nomadic ways, conquers all, until he no longer could. He experiences his first signs of mortality by rupturing his ACL at 36 with Man Utd, before seemingly vanished across faraway lands, never to grace the fields that he once dominated.

Then, he finds himself in some crazy once-in-a-generation(s) situation, where the place that he longed to call home has continued to decline into disrepute, desperate for a hero, a hero that only he could fulfil. One final chance for glory at the place he never thought he'd leave the first time. Sequels generally end poorly after the initial nostalgia. But this sequel was more than anyone could ask for - well except maybe for Ibra himself. He has finally arrived from a long, long journey to be where his heart and soul yearns for - home. And he has come back to restore his club to a place where it belongs.

Similar to Maximus in The Gladiator, he becomes the "people's emperor" - the leader that guides and restores, the leader that sows the seeds, but perhaps never experiences the maximum glory that his club so promises. This is best epitomised by him receiving his framed jumper from Maldini, who is pretty much Milan's Seneca. Milan plays for European glory, and Maldini is the embodiment of that; with 5 CLs. Ibra has never won a CL, let alone with Milan. But somehow, Ibra embodies AC Milan at its most basic level as a club, a club made of people. You saw this in all of its raw beauty in the farewell; the tears, the joy, even the choked up defiant voice of the announcer announcing Ibra's name for one last time. Somehow, in a season ending without any trophies, AC Milan somehow wins again. One of the most powerful sendoffs I've ever seen. Perfectly fitting for the one and only Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Some players leave their mark by playing more than 20 years in your club while winning multiple CL trophies and titles. Others don't even get to play 5 years or win one single CL, and yet they'll be remembered as true club legends walking up there in Valhalla together with the legends of the past while getting a send-off with 70k+ people crying as emotions take over...

Zlatan will be remembered as one of the most iconic Milan players of all time. No doubts.

Plastic clubs are fighting over a guy I have never heard of and reached the figure of 70 m, while we are looking at players like Arnautovic. Grazie berlusconi. 6 years passed and there are still people who can't comprehend that he buried the club and all fans alive. What's more, many still want to suck his balls.
Man you are on fire today,
that fucker killed us,if he sold Milan to normal owner we would probabile won cl until now but no we are looking at players like messiassss

5 mil for 34 year old third striker with our budget ,i dont think so
If we had Arnautovic this year, we would at least win those shitty matches against Cremonese, Empoli, and such where we dropped points at home. I'm positive he'll work wonders for us in a rotation.

What bothers me is that we won't be able to get rid of Origi/Rebic that easily.

Fuck. Just the tiniest touch by Ampadu and Tammy loses his footing and the knee is fucked.

I fucked my left knee last year, mainly my meniscus, twisting my ankle on a broken street paving slab... I over compensated and blew my knee to fuck.

Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could have been, tears and rupture etc. Lots of rest, opioid painkillers, physio and strapping followed.

But fuck, I watched that video and felt his pain... Fuck ouch!!!

Why wasn't this reported in bold text right after the fact?

We are all Milan players here.

I wonder what they mean by "intelligent" market. Is that what we did when we signed messias, origi and Dest?

Kamada is free, RLC would be 15, so my guess is more cheap gambles on RW and CF.

Pathetic. Its even more disappointing as we'd likely get PEANUTS from sales.

Invited as a guest of maldini apparently, so he could tell the entire world our plans, bar for bar.
Maldini hasn't really kept his plans a secret post Gazidis

What is shared by the media is usually what tends to happen

EEE moj brate, nema od toga ništa.
Ako misle imati dobru sezonu. Ne smiju ponoviti greške od prošle godine. Igrači moraju doći na vrijeme. Dobre pripreme su ključ uspjeha. A sezona počinje početkom jula. Od prvog dana trener treba da ima skoro sve igrače na raspolaganju.

Očekujem zaista kvalitetan mercato. Prvenstveno jer nam trebaju minimalno 4 startera.

I am really tired of this. I am not asking for Mbappe or Haaland. I am asking for a normal club - good coach who knows what he is doing and 3-4 good players per season. I am tired of watching Pioli, Messias, Gabbia, Calabria, Brahim, etc... I am tired of losing great prospects to clubs like Leipzig that didn't even exist 10 years ago.

All this is because of berlusconi. He could've sold the team to PSG's sheikhs in 2009 and we would've had at least 25-26 Scudetti, 9-10 CLs, a few Balon d'Ors, etc. by now. This move would've changed the whole football map of Europe. Instead, the senile pedophile opened the banter era door and squeezed everything he could out of the team that he always claimed he loved. When he finally decided to fuck off he laundered hundreds of millions sending Milan to the verge of bankruptcy by selling to a guy nobody knew in China. Again the big loser was Milan and the millions of fans all over the world who had to buckle up for another awful period of 2-3 years before we were allowed to have some joy because Elliott, unlike berlusconi actually had any idea what to do.
Instead of making Milan the greatest team in the history, berlusconi decided to look solely after his personal interest and buried the club alive. But some are still sucking his balls.

He had a strong first half of the season, and was great in the last 3 matches. However he was completely missing in 2023 till the Samp hattrick.

It is 28 matches, 4 goals and 2 assists.

Starting CF is an absolute must, our most important position to upgrade. Giroud is awesome as a sub though.

Haaland i still don't think is that special. His novelty factor should end soon. Anyone can look good in that loaded city team. Vini nhaa. Not that guy. Whines like a bitch too.

One thing i learnt though is that piece of shit roy keane, fucking meat pie munching cunt ruined the career of haalands father. Bitch is thr most untalented footballer I have ever seen. Somehow gets paraded around like he is a modric or he'll even a pirlo. Van bommel defecates on that pommy degenerate.

Apart from that, with regards to leao. Only time will tell. Give leao an oshimen and a proper RW like ismaila or georges for example, he is going to rip serie a up for the next 5 years and win us 3 4 scudetti easy. Possible ucl winner too.
WTF did I just read

How much could we get from rebic and origi? Be lucky to get 10 million?

Plus we are getting 7.5 for Pessina.

So realistically the 'budget' should be atleast 60
