laughing at this because i have absolutely zero allegiance to redbird.
if you read what was written as opposed to seeing everything that doesnt gobble maldini's dick as criticism, then you'd have already seen that
lets see mario lets see,but i already have so many proofs against cunt it is going to be soo bad
Baseball just made the bases bigger this season because they don't even get on baseThey know we don't actually "get on base" like for reals????!!!
San Donato plot is private land?Yes, but Sesto area is served better, is not on a highway and is bigger, Sesto has always been my favourite choice but probably they think it will take too long to start building there and probably they see some kind of problems with the mayor and bureaucracy
I don’t actually have any faith in Pioli. If it was to me I would have fired him and kept Maldini.
I think he had a disastrous season and show himself to be a limited coach.
With that said, based on reports it seems that our management has decided to give him more power in the market. So I’m excited to see how he does, will he mess it up (likely) or will he prove us wrong and do wonders with it (unlikely)
That’s what I’m getting at here.
As far as what he did? No I think an approach that works well if that if you have a coach you have trust in and has coached Milan for 3-4 years and you still have in him, they should get invovled in the market. It’s not whether he earned it or not, he’s the coach. He should have that power. This is my belief in general.
The coach could be Abate for all I care, if he comes in and has a contract for 2-3 years or even already coached in Milan for 3 years, he should still have input in the market. It’s the modern style of clubs these days.
Arteta isn’t even a established coach himself, yet he had a lot to say in the market and did pretty well this season.
This is Ten Hag’s first season as a coach in a top 4 league, was given the keys in the market and did well. Ten Hag has a better resume than Pioli but not even close to Carlo/Klopp/Pepito etc but was given the keys to the market and performed well.
According to some links Berlusconi dude posted, Pioli had some input in the market 2 seasons ago when Gazidis was around, what did we do? We won a title. This season everything points out that when Maldini gained full power, he did the decisions on his own and Pioli had no input, based on how this season went, this might actually make sense. We did badly although Pioli didn’t do himself any favours either.
My point is, if you’re hiring a coach and giving him a contract and have faith in him, you gotta get him involved in the market. It’s not about what Pioli has done to earn it. For me if he’s the coach, he has earned that right. I don’t care if the coach is Abate, Italiano, Pioli or a Carlo/Pep/Klopp. I believe this approach is better than old Italian minded approach where the SD has all the power and coach has to adapt.
I’m not saying Pioli should be given the keys after his tactical failures this season. But considering the management are doing that based on reports (unless you think it’s all PR which I don’t agree because no one really asked for Pioli to get more say), then I hope he can somehow magically prove us wrong and bring us to glory
If you disagree fair enough.
sure, but if rnb's are watching pioli's faults in squad management & growth, won't the in-house analytical teams at redbird see it as well? which brings me to my former point, i would love a clarification from the ownership regarding just what "bigger involvment in the transfermarket" means. The coach could be Abate for all I care, if he comes in and has a contract for 2-3 years or even already coached in Milan for 3 years, he should still have input in the market. yeah, but if the coach hasn't earned that merit? will you place a bet on his suggestion and will carry a length player contract down the road to another one? there's a logic behind a concise and thoughtful plan by an sd. maybe that's not the current way modern clubs are operating but we will have to see if that's not a splash of money without a decent return. My point is, if you’re hiring a coach and giving him a contract and have faith in him, you gotta get him involved in the market. arteta isn't the example i would look to contrast it with the way redbird is handling things. arteta wouldn't have his autonomy if he were named jamey smiths instead, he was just an assistant coach before. that is opposed to the extreme merit way of management demostrated by redbird at least with the paolo debacle.Arteta isn’t even a established coach himself, yet he had a lot to say in the market and did pretty well this season.

Yes but the good old Parco Sud is close to that area but i think it's going to happen this timeSan Donato plot is private land?
San Donato plot is private land?
Well its not about how much we spend it is more how we spend itwe will see at the end off mercato when we spend 20 mil and play oli messias and rade ,then i will be waiting what will you write.
Psyops to make the firing "understandable"?
It was a good move by RedBird. Everyone will be too busy focused on Maldini being fired all summer to notice we only spent 10m on the mercato and kept Messias. Isn't that right @patosheva?I mean would Benfica treat Rui Costa this way? No other option but to get behind this as a fan and see what happens but it’s sent shockwaves through the football world a real negative action
fanbase is upset 24 hours after a laconic statement by a new ownership and would back the person who earned that respect over decades, not a shocking idea to understandEvery report against Maldini is propaganda, but every report that puts RedBird in a negative light is truth.
Cmon guys... You gotta be able to see the lunacy in this, right?
The owners and maldini didnt see eye to eye on how the club was going to operate. It's as simple as that.
Someone wanted more power than the owner wanted to give.
You don't need 3 weeks of Walt Disney fables when the truth is sitting clearly in front of you.

if it means having a say on transfers, the he hasn't earned that right. if it's just lip service than also fine, but that brings us exactly to where we were with paolo.

ten haag coached a renowned team and made his cl successes before jumping to man utd, where he has to handle a squad with WAY bigger ego than milan (ronaldo situation for one), got them to an impressive place in the table when they struggled historically. more pressure & budget, and is levels above what pioli has earned in his career, cmon.

These days those cheerleaders are ambiguous. Beer is going woke in usaDo you think Gerry will want bigger goal and players in actual clown shoes?
I'm looking forward to the cheerleaders and those hats that hold 2 Miller Light...
I don't know about learning from Theo yet. He doesn't exude leadership qualities.Well now we will get young players and they'll learn from Theo and Maignan and eventually Leao and Tonali and the rest, same as how they learned from Kjaer and Ibra. Real never had a period where their entire squad was shit and they had to rebuild completely. From 2019 only Calabria remains. We rebuilt the entire fucking squad. You can't expect the same sort of starting point as Real. But in a few years the senior players in our squad will be the Kroos/Modric/Ronaldo types in your example. In the end it's the same model.
If this was true then it was fair enough tbh. But I think their meeting ended pretty badly
It shows that they're pussies, can't take the heat. When things get tough the tough get going.....or something like that.I come back and all these members ban themselves ok I get the message you passive aggressive fucks

media are obviously vultures who fly above the corpse before it even gotten cold, but lack of statements by a new ownership towards the market also has a part to play in this.
redbird has all the responsibility to earn that respect back and until then it would makes sense for the fans to be against them or at least to buy into negative spins on them.
fixed that for you"Pioli has proven to be excellent in the development of young players."
