I don't know what to think about Alexis, i always liked him and i still see potential in him but regarding CDK i can't wait to see him gone, i'm sorry but he is the main reason we finished 5th. Nothing against him personally of course but i don't see any great talent in him, he is not fast enogh, he does not have a great shooting ability, he does not win aerial duels, he just did a few good passing here and there

N'Dicka being "convinced" has little to nothing to do with it... No player on earth chooses Roma over us in an open race.
The problem becomes if that deal was so advanced, the agent may not want to risk burning bridges and advise his player to conclude the deal.

That being said, we have CL and we're Milan. We should still be able to conclude it, if we're serious.
I've wanted us to sign N'Dicka since last summer. I know he's a 3atb defender and that he'll need some gelling. But he's huge and he's quite fast, will be a nice defender to have in the toolbox.

Can you relax?

You have joined this forum in 2010.

So my assumption is best case scenario you’re around 27-30 years old? And worst case you’re 35-40?

How can you have meltdowns like this every single day? You’re not a teenager anymore. I’m just stating my opinion

Take a chill pill, Christ
Hahah I ignored him long ago. It's almost like hearing a child scream everyday and you become appalled about how much energy the child still has. My guess is that this forum is a place to vent for some people.

@MatteMoretto: Milan knows that they are starting at a disadvantage, because they have recently reactivated contacts, but they are willing to try to convince Evan N'Dicka and Marcus Thuram to accept the Rossoneri project. They offer them a salary among the top of the squad and a starting role. Behind N'Dicka is Roma, and behind Thuram - as we have anticipated in recent days - is PSG.

who would you currently count as part of the core? tonali, theo, leao, mike, tomori?
who of them do you see at milan in 5 years, guaranteed?

obviously tonali, maybe mike and theo. tomori is english and will probably want to prove himself again in the premier league. leao has also spoken about the premier league on several occasions.

if you are not real, bayern, psg or barca, you have a hard time against the pull of premier league. but again… selling key players is absolutely fine, as long as we replace them properly.

Spot on. 100% agree. Why are people so scared of the idea of selling our players?

To make something clear, I’ll never keep or want our club to keep our players hostage and refuse to sell them. If they want to leave, let them go. Imagine if we are a prison like PSG? That would be disgusting.

The only thing I want if we sell players, again, because they want to leave, is to simply reinvest that money into the market.

If the players are willing to stay, then we should do everything we can to make them stay if they’re part of our core. I don’t think we are a selling club like Napoli, we can afford to keep our players, but if they want to leave, let them leave. Gain valuable money and reinvest in the market to replace them adequately. Every club at top level does this. So why the fuck is there so much fair in this my god?

How much money do you guys think Chelsea gain from sales  or Madrid? Or even Barcelona who then reinvested that money in a big Mercato last season?

If we sell and that money isn’t used to invest, then we have every right to be worried, but from their intentions, it doesn’t look to be that way.

To me there are 2 players I do not want to sell at all costs (unless they want to go), Leao and Mike Maignan. They’ll be very hard to replace. The rest can be replaced. I’m not saying I want them sold, I just don’t think we’ll be in tatters if we sold others if we replaced them adequacy, while if we sell Leao/Mike Maignan, we’ll take more time to recover from their losses because it’ll be very difficult to find players like that in the market.

Gazzetta - Milan, for the trocar eyes on Baldanzi: he is the perfect sketch of the Rossoneri reinforcement

That would be a good move.

I'm sorry, but I respectfully completely disagree with you. Absolutely get rid of Pioli, Scaroni and whoever else before Paolo. Even positivity force turned against Padre this year, and now we're kissing his feet (not you)? The mental gymnastics some here are taking supporting (or at least accepting) the Maldini firing is very strange.

As I've said a few times, directors make bad signings and bad decisions on occasion. Paolo literally put together a Scudetto winning team for the first time in a decade. Calling Maldini a bad apple when every single player, manager, etc that he's ever worked with have called him the best professional there is?

No, I'm inclined to believe his side of the story over this ownership who have done nothing to deserve our respect. Give me Capitano any day over Gerry, and yes Gerry out.

I prefer our Capitano over anyone else in the management team too.

But Gerry had his hands tied is what I’m saying.

Not practical to fire everyone else and keep Maldini

That's interesting they called Ndicka a starter

Ndicka is a LCB. So we assume either Tomori is being sold or Milan is switching to a 343

Thuram would be one I would prefer but it's tough beating PSG

Those few games playing 343 really convinced Padre, eh?

#Milan , negotiation with #Ndicka : the Rossoneri entered with decision yesterday, #Roma ahead but game still open @cmdotcom

If we are looking for a CB of his calibre, then we are selling a CB. Who is it? Kalulu or Tomori?

Probably Kalulu. Otherwise it doesn’t make sense to seek a defender that would be a luxury signings considering we need more reinforcements in attack and the midfield.

I think Tomori is more in danger because Kalulu can also play RB and Calabria is a shit RB and they know it, Calabria and Florenzi are not reliable

fwiw I think this team is more suited for a 343

Kalulu, Theo, Thiaw, and Salad would shine more in it

Also in a 4 back Theo and Leao don't really complement each other. In a 3 back, they will fit much better. It will require some tactical work from Padre which I don't think he's capable of

It's interesting they called Ndicka a starter though, it means a major shift is coming regardless

Gabbia, always Gabbia.

Thiaw, Tomori, Kalulu, N‘Dicka and we are good for years. Simic will replace Kjaer.

they are still stuck in a different decade or play too much FIFA:lol:

they cling to this image of milan that people have grown up with. this no longer exists and will not exist in this form in the future.

all this crying about player sales is so fucking pathetic

I hope N'Dicka is a sign of investment more generally because otherwise CB is one of the last positions I'm worried about

Thiaw/Tomori/Kalulu/Kjaer/Gabbia is more solid than we are at almost any other spot

Pursuing Ndicka is not really a good news in my opinion. We are set in defense, Tomori, Thiaw, Kalulu, Kjaer, Gabbia is more than enough for 2 positions. If we don't sell any of the players mentioned before, we simply will not have space for Ndicka. And to be honest, apart from Gabbia, everyone from our current option is better than him, and unfortunately Gabbia is needed for the lists. Maybe they are trying to release both Kjaer and FBT and have Ndicka be a backup Tomori/Theo all by himself?

Looking at this stats, he really regressed this season compared to the last 2.

Now stat boys like just hope idiot will bring out ndickas stats. Stats don't mean much. You got to watch the game bud. Observe. Learn and discern their ability.

Stats can be very misleading.
Just like g unit general fudges accounting statements to make his company look more appealing to the public. Or so he claims. Anyway......

Nope. Rw/WF. Not out and out striker.
If we expect him to be our main CF then we are in for a rude awakening. He is an excellent prospect. Phenomenal genes etc.
He is more of a wide player. He can't play as a main cf. He misses alot.

He can provide assists and attack from wide angles to create width.

But not as a main cf. We still need a main striker. Like lukaku as an example.

Thuram is great news. Really hoping we can land him. Striker is the most difficult position to get a quality player in, the supply is low, demand is high, this is the position that clubs pay the most for. Securing a quality player like Thuram for free would be huge, and really accelerate our team, and help us allocate more funds to other positions as well.

Kamada, Ndicka, Thuram for free as a start would be impressive. Maybe that 35mil mercato is not that bad after all? After this, we would only need a DM and a RW, which can be achieved even without sales. I also have a feeling that Moncada will go for Bamba.
