I think in the last few days we've seen both sides going a bit overboard. That includes myself.

Of course, when I said I didn't like the 35M investment on CDK, I really think that was stupid, I didn't mean to disrespect Maldinis entire work here who included overhauling the team in two years on a restricted budget while still winning a Scudetto. For me that's needless to say, but sometimes, in a discussion board with such huge interaction numbers where not everyone holds tabs on what who said when, such things can get lost in translation. 😉
Alo, to be clear: I do not think you or anyone else who discusses things are part of the problem. Don't you act like you did anything wrong, you didn't.

But people are praising links for free agents, like losing Maldini finally allowed us to go after Thuram. Give me a break.

My real anger is that Pioli is still here. If he wasn't so stubborn, we should be in the final today. He played into the stupid 352 bullshit trap that Inter set, after... not doing that against Conte who built the system Simone is using!

I'm not going to seal clap Ndicka, Kamada, Thuram, and Tielemans as revolutionary. If we are going to sacrifice Maldini, then fine, use your data to grab me the next Kvara, Enzo, and Muani.

And I don't have trust in Pioli anymore, he broke that, after I defended him to the point of ridicule.

But I just find calls for me to stop being sarcastic when we have posters who have dedicated years to "troll" (and they've been shitty at it) is just... it just doesn't sit right with me.

At least something is happening, Brahim officially gone.
I honestly liked him, good personalty and character, really enjoyed playing for Milan and scored some important goals. Overall he's not a perfect fit for our playing style, so I understand why we look for someone else.

They still not traditional 10s
Leao one trick pony… you are crazy
No one ever mentioned about position or even tradition.

I'm saying that when I see number 10 I always though about creative/imaginative players, while 7 as speedy player.

So you're saying that Leao has the similar skill set like Ney and Dinho? Like, > 80% similar?

Question :

Between Neymar, Dinho, and Messi (I adding him in case you're confuse what I mean with creative player is) VS Ronaldo (R7) and Ribery, where do you think Leao playing style is more similar to?

Yes last mercato was a disaster and having Enzo, Muani and Dybala would take Milan to a different level most likely.

But there's also the question of Milanello. It lost Maldini and Ibra. If people think that's not a huge problem they are very, very wrong.

Did any other club or SD sign Enzo, Muani and Dybala, all 3 of them last year? So which are these other managements that are doing that much better? Last summer, maybe just Napoli did an amazing job, but they aren't doing Kvara like deals every year.

I support every Italian team in Europe, except Inter and Juve. That’s my philosophy. These 2 teams have haunted me and I can’t root for our main rivals.

I rooted for Roma and Fiorentina in the finals though. Even if Roma annoys me, I’d still root for them in Europe over anyone else.

Knowing my luck the only Italian team I didn’t root on this fortnight will actually win though 🙄

99% agree. Can't agree on Juve and Inter. Inter and their fans are worse, if there would be a final Inter Juve i'd support Juve from the bottom of my heart
Inter fans have an inferiority complex to both of their rivals, that's their problem.

There are far too many to name past & present
Leao was also a SS when we signed him.
He needed few seasons to become an actual winger.

It doesn’t matter what they are, if you play in the wings you are a nr 7 (if we basing on numbers)
There is no such nr 10, when attacking midfielders are nonexistent in modern football

Don't give it all the numbers means this bollocks. Each region/country has a different definition. In Brazil a 7 or 11 either or would be a striker. In fact USA94 both their starting strikers wore 7 and 11. Paolo Maldini wore #7 in Italia 90.

AM aren't nonexistent in modern football their roles have changed. Its more about exploiting half space play than in between the lines nowadays. A #10 in modern football is either an inside forward like the old SS role like Salah and Mane were doing at Liverpool a free 8 which KDB and whoever is playing for Citeh in the 433 base set up and then in the 325 3241/3223 attacking set up. Or the role that Pellegrini is doing for Roma. Where he's half 8 and half 10. And thats for teams playing 343/3421. Or in more basic 433 set up the attacking b2b #8 is the attacking midfielder. The maverick lazy #10 is dead.

It's like the Dutch 433 everyone thinks it's an actually a 433 but it's a 4213 shape. Which most people would argue isn't it a 4231.

See this and maybe you could reconsider. Dimarco face is so punchable and god I hate Lautaro Martínez so much. Fuck them hard man.

tbh i rather have the players singing and being happy with the curva rather than standing for a couple of minutes while they get lectured like children

I hope Leao keeps the #17, that's his number. I'm not a big fan of number changes, especially if a player already had a certain number for years and Leao's been here for four years already, I prefer him with #17.

For this matchup I just root for the team whose win that would benefit Milan more, which in most occasions is draws tbf.

I hate Juve more though so I tend to root for Inter more in this matchup, if they face in SuperCup or Coppa Italia matches. With that said this season i wanted Juve to win because I’m haunted by them atm thanks to our dear Piolito and his tactics vs his master Inzaghi

They are instigated by the press specially Gazzetta that they are an elite club and there is no difference between us

If Leao picked 11... I would have been over the moon.

I think he's more of a 7, in my mind. I kinda wish he stuck with 17, make it his own, like Kaka with 22.

11 is my favorite number, and I was too young to fully appreciate Massaro, so Ibra being 11 was always something I liked.

I hope I like the next 11.

Marcus Thuram, and he is truly not a bad player, is perhaps the most overrated player on this forum - ever.
I agree 100% together with Hojlund and Belotti. He is average as a LW/RW and he is worse as a CF, he is average at everything, this just tells me that

Moretto says we want a CF, RW, a 10 who can also play in CM, a CB and a vice Theo

no DM :head:

That 10 that can play as a CM sounds like SMS (i know its Kamada) but since Maldini left everything regarding him went cold so i stopped hoping. I really think that he was the played to elevate our midfield to the next lvl.

Inter have been protected by the press and authorities, which is how they escaped Calciopoli.

Their history is defined by being ugly, from Herrera to Mourinho, to the cowardly style of Conte, they are defined by being ugly.

They will forever be in our shadow, which is why we have Inter fans on this forum.

According to Calciomercato.com, Lazio could accept a sale this summer but want around €35m for SMS.

Milan, however, don’t intend to spend more than €30m on a single player. As a result, the Rossoneri are an unlikely destination for the 28-year-old, who also is on the radar of Juventus.

Tielemans would be an EXCELLENT signing for free. He’s a complete midfielder who’s equally strong in both phases of the game and can play anywhere in midfield.

Hopefully Moncada can convince him to join our project as he only turned 26 last month. Also, the physical nature of the EPL will allow him to add some steel to our midfield in addition to his creativity and goal threat.
