A stop gap can work if it means using more transfer money for quality players we need. If we can get add some WC (or close to it) players at other positions like a DM, CB, CM and keep adding cheaper talents like a Santos (RB) to fill out the squad and then go all out on a striker next season. I feel like the striker market is weak this year.

Biggest downside of Lukaku is that there is no resale value. With a somewhat successful younger striker signing we can probably make at lest 50% profit on the initial fee.
