Not to be a party pooper, but it is inexplicable that a team as strong as ours is ninth in the league and went out in the round of 16 of the Champions League with Feyenoord.

I've been saying it for weeks, but from a mentality and attitude point of view, the squad composition is a disaster. We don't have a quality problem, we have a mentality problem. At least Fonseca and Conceicao failed because of this. And if we don't send the face of this problem (Theo) to the desert, then it won't change. Actually, you also have to sell Leao, because he says himself that he primarily plays for fun. Also, the squad planner (probably Moncada) needs to be sacked.

Respect to Jovic, who has fought his way into the season and now looks much fitter and is now being rewarded for it.

But you also have to ask yourself how it can be that a player only gets fit in March/April. Again a question of mentality / attitude.

Let's hope the new coach respects him and he stays in form, because yesterday he looked comparatively quick, lively and also fast in his head.

That's why, once again, we should wait and see when it comes to Gimenez. Let him prepare properly with a good coach and when he's fit and well integrated, things will look very different from what they have so far.

He has to be considered as a serious contender.

Conceicao has shown really good things and some bad things. To be fair to him, he didn't have the option of preparing for the season from the beginning.

A lot would depend on who the alternatives are. There's nothing to confirm to us that someone like Sarri for example would do better with this squad.

We have to consider the harmony he has created wit the squad and the management and I think Conceicao has done a relatively good job at that. To me, he has created the foundations to build on something better.

I am always in favour of stability and consistency.. but if another better option is available, then...

I think a better tactician aswell as a "teacher" could make Leao a better player..in terms of responsability, focus and all of that.

As for Puli he seems really really tired..but at the same time im thinking he got instructed to drift central a lot..which for me personally is not a good thing. I think him not staying wide and playing more as a pure winger kills a little bit of his game. He has a good technique..can cut inside and shoot with his left but also has some really good crosses with his right..
