Not to be a party pooper, but it is inexplicable that a team as strong as ours is ninth in the league and went out in the round of 16 of the Champions League with Feyenoord.
Tough to digest, very tough.
Let's hope well for the future, starting with the final in Rome.
Always forza Milan.
I've been saying it for weeks, but from a mentality and attitude point of view, the squad composition is a disaster. We don't have a quality problem, we have a mentality problem. At least Fonseca and Conceicao failed because of this. And if we don't send the face of this problem (Theo) to the desert, then it won't change. Actually, you also have to sell Leao, because he says himself that he primarily plays for fun. Also, the squad planner (probably Moncada) needs to be sacked.
Respect to Jovic, who has fought his way into the season and now looks much fitter and is now being rewarded for it.
But you also have to ask yourself how it can be that a player only gets fit in March/April. Again a question of mentality / attitude.
Let's hope the new coach respects him and he stays in form, because yesterday he looked comparatively quick, lively and also fast in his head.
That's why, once again, we should wait and see when it comes to Gimenez. Let him prepare properly with a good coach and when he's fit and well integrated, things will look very different from what they have so far.
With him, Jovic and Camarda we have a good forward unit. Maybe Furlani will also get Abraham at a favourable price, if he can do something... then negotiate.
Oh, and another thing: Jiménez is our best right-back. And how he was berated here back then because the referee fell for a dive against Atalanta and whistled for a penalty.
But we urgently need at least two centre-backs, a left-back and a defensive midfielder.
