They should’ve asked Furlani why Singer was there and Gerry hasn’t showed all season. It would’ve been interesting to hear his reply. I think Singer has made more appearances than Gerry this season. Something is definitely going on.

According to Franco Ordine Singer had a long conversation with Furlani after the game. Don't know what was said but hope to tell him to make drastic changes this summer on and off the pitch.

I think something must’ve happened on Furlani’s trip to NY with lawyers present. I don’t think that trip had anything to do with picking a SD.

I thought the trip was to meet Gerry and not Elliott. I hope the Singers put pressure on RedBird to change the way the team is run.

I’ll tell you why the lost is very much bitter:

1. This is Final
2. We are losing against fucking Bologna in a final.
3. Considering Bologna’s position in the league, Milan needs to win more, and Milan didn’t show that
4. The boys are losing againts Feyenoord and a Bologna in decisive knockouts. So beta.

Meanwhile

this may be unpopular but I did not mind Elliott. Too bad they will not go in again
This is rock bottom… i know the full history of this club, and everything considered, from squad to competition, this is arguably the worst season for milan ever, bar relegation in the early 80s.

Very humiliating to let a club like Bologna win their first title in over 50 years..

Boban’s interview might’ve had an effect actually.. saying this trophy was worthless might’ve gotten into the players’ heads idk..

Fuck this team and management.. this is a dead club and the worst is yet to come.. dark times
this is not rock bottom

it may get worse

Furlani’s trip to NY with lawyers was to meet Gerry. The media was claiming it was to insert his power as CEO because Gerry and Ibra were picking another SD. But I think Furlani was paying a visit for other reasons. Maybe he was visiting on behalf of Elliott or someone else.

Gerry spoke at a forum a while back and made reference to Liverpool but no mention of Milan.

Milan is done and dusted. Nobody can save us until Redbird sells the club.

Watched this whole match was such a waste of my time…

Schira says if Conte leaves for Juve then plan A for Napoli is Allegri. Plan B is Italiano.

I’m wondering if that’ll leave Sarri for Milan.

Teams find ways to get the ball to their best players, they create tactics to put their best players in the position to do the most damage.

We don't. I disagree with this sentiment in the tweet. The reason players like Chuk and Walker get the ball so much is because we don't know how to punish their fixation on our left side.

We are constantly out-coached, because our management does not value coaching and it reflects in our play.
I don’t think I follow. Are you saying we don’t get the ball to Leao enough? If anything the ball ends up at his feet too often. The team is looking to him offensively, and expecting things to happen from him to the point that we’ve become offensively reliant on him. And the issue is this, he’s not that good. On his day he can look incredible but when are those days? How often? How consistently? We’re relying offensively on a player who’s, at best, a luxury player. Sure he could play at any big club, but he’d be a second half sub. He’s Kingsley Coman, but not even that- and we’re not Bayern.

To be clear, Leao didn’t do anything wrong tonight effort-wise, but he’s 100% the reason why we looked toothless. Milan play a game where very few useful crosses come in because Leao slows the game down to a crawl, does a dribble and then tries to squeeze perfect passes through a wall of defenders who had ample time to get back and set up defensively. How do you think that impacts whomever our other attacking players are? And when he does cross the ball, it’s not dangerously with pace, just a floaty ball to the back post that works once every 5 games. What about when someone has the ball on the right side of the pitch? They don’t cross either because who’s in the box that’s going to attack the cross? Not Leao, at least not often. But at least he cuts inside and shoots on goal… oh… yeah, he’s awful at that more often than not too.

We played better on Friday with Leao off the pitch, it’s a fact. His presence demands the ball, but he doesn’t have the consistency to warrant it.

The other issue is our defenders can’t play out of pressure, but I’ll save that for another post.
