too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
It still hasn't hit me how badly they failed this year.
It is a staggering failure. How the whole management team has not already been fired.
It makes Gerry look a bit like
steve martin film GIF

He’s something 2.0 alright but nothing to be proud of.

It may improve things with the refs. Give them a half time handjob. Relief their stress for the 2nd half.
We've had Joao Felix for 4 months, without getting any love back from the refs. Felix can't even do that job correctly

They wanted to replace Raphinha last summer with Leao lol, Raphinha is 3yrs older and only has one good season in his career. Leao would become a monster in that team with a real system under a proper coach like Flick.
So, for Raphinha plus 40mm... would we sell them Leao?

Already reports that tiji agreed personal terms with city:( one of his biggest inspirations is KdB and is now called by Pep to follow up KdB…

Quickest way to have Red Bird leave is don't go to games. If the San Siro keeps selling out then there's no incentive for them to make any drastic changes. As long as there are butts in the seats and the money keeps rolling in then why change anything?

Saturday better be empty.

There are far too many to name past & present

Mendes's commission was too high for an agreement to happen.

If the going to every home game Italian fans can do their part by not turning up and robbing all the tourists then there's a chance.

I thought we could still qualify in Europa League but not since we are 5 points behind the 7th.

In the best case, the League conference I think but between us we don't care ...

It's sad to say but I don't see in which reijnders world will stay if City covets and biggest salary ...

If he leaves it will do like Tonali we will struggle hard to have a competitive team again.

I admit I landed a little but we risk having a workforce at Monza where the star of the team would be Abraham 😃

These leaders are really embucked ...

In all fairness I don´t think McTominay would have been popular as a transfer among Milan fans without hindsight.
I had never heard of him because don't follow EPL, and not sure if he would have had the same positive impact under our coaches at Milan. MC didn't take long to adjust to the league and very early on it was clear that he was quality, sort of like us with Deers.

This has been a horrible year, possibly the worst I’ve ever experienced. Mostly because of the expectations, along with the dwindling hope after the mercato. And seeing how deflecting and ignorant and clueless this management has been.
And now the only two brightspots are on the brink of leaving/not extending (Reijnders and Pulisic).
IMO, There’s nothing to build around if that happens and they might as well blow it up and start over. Because that would be gutwrenching and probably make this hopeless optimistic reflect on how emotionally invested I can handle being next season.

Yeah I mean would we have collapsed the way we did with Conte on the sidelines? Probably not. He delivers – no doubt about it. I’ve said that multiple times, tho.

But does he overachieve? Not really. He didn't achieve half of what Simone is currently doing with Inter for example despite having a much better and expensive squad back then. I keep seeing all this praise as if Napoli was supposed to battle for relegation (which is crazy), but I’ve said since the start of the season that Napoli would be in the Scudetto race with all the money they spent last summer.

I don’t get why people are acting surprised now. But even then Napoli isn’t even miles ahead of the pack. They could lose this weekend and still win the title with fewer than 80 points. Has that ever happened in a 38-game Serie A season? I don't think so. Props to Conte for maximizing his squads potential tho. We could use some of that, NGL.
I read that it happened in 2010, too bad for Sarri that with 91 points finished second to Juventus in 2017/18. Checked Google and in his 3 years at Napoli the club scored 259 goals, the most in the league for that period.
He remains my favorite for the job but wouldn't mind Conte as second choice.

This is not a 0 sum game ... we could also just kick everyone out along with Maldini and Boban.

This either ... or is selling our options short.

Personally I would keep Furlani if he sticks to finance, but if he is in the way of a better structure (and Elliott cooperates) he can go as well.
In business they have a CEO and CFO, Furlani can be the second. In Serie A they have the role of Amministratore Delegato which I guess it's what Furlani is in our structure while our most famous one was Galliani.

Getting top 4 comfortably with games to spare should be priority no.1 for next season.

This means making smart choices in who to keep, bring in and who to cut loose. The trouble is the three stooges are still around and they cannot be trusted to handle this operation,
inter, Roma, Juventus, Atalanta… the core of those players are simply better than ours.

we won’t have a mercato that gets all the missing parts and upgrades our team in the summer

we are looking at a grind next year to make the top 4 even with less matches to focus on

it will take a couple of years at best to fix our mess

Let's not forget they spent 200m, had Kvara half of the season and Osimhen isn't really that special. I'd say he's on the same level as Lukaku. It's not like their squad is equal to Bologna or Fiorentina ffs people really need to stop overrating that whiny little cunt Conte
Without Kvara they suffered a steep decline, lost their best player by far and that reflects in their lower point total.
With him they would probably be closer to 90 than 80. People talk about Leao but the Georgian's contribution to his team was much higher in all phases of the game, including defensively.

Ranieri said that Milan have the best players in Serie A but our problem is that these players don't always play like a team, but when they did not even Inter could beat us
We could have even taken a chance on the tinkerer Ranieri

but too much incompetence with Milan to make good decisions

Fuck no.

We have incredible talent in our squad.
We're just indisciplined and poorly led tactically.
The amount of ridiculous red cards we got was amazing. There are reds that you can/should give up if it helps the team.
Then there's the Theo/Gimenez shit

Sergio literally tanked our position in the table with the 2 man midfield. It was inexplicable.
But it gets worse. The 2 man midfield was to accommodate Felix so the attack was neutered as well :proud:

No matter how much talent is in the squad, if the team is not balanced defensively, you ain't winning shit.
The galacticos had stars in almost every attacking position, but won precious little because they didn't have anyone doing the dirty work defensively.

I can't even blame Morata, who is a quality player for seeing the writing on the wall and getting out.

I guarantee you that any of :max: , Conte or Sarri has us at MINIMUM at 4th.
I will die on the hill of saying that we have good players....but we have no direction.
The coach and everyone above him is shit.

I do not believe our midfield is close to the top 4 right now

even our talent has regressed

mike is actually playing consistent

pulisic is not as good after his injury
Leao is talent but not consistent
theo has lost it

Tiji is good but playing with Fofana and who? RLC and Musah?

The top 4 teams I listed have a much better core of players and their midfield can control the game against us.

we also changed formation and are still being pushed around the field

we have some really great players

but obviously you don’t even need the greatest players if you have a reliable system, well practised but flexible tactical plans, and a squad whose qualities match your ideas

Acerbi would not look like a good CB in our setup

I think with a team that suits him and a good coach Tijji is top few midfielders in Europe

and I still believe in Rafa so I want a coach who works well with him
