These idiots will never learn… they are under pressure and think hoarding Italians will appease the fans or help solve our problems??

And they’re about to sell our only supposedly untouchable player.. god damn idiots
To be fair having a dominant nationality in the team might help the team´s cohesiveness.

One silver lining about so few games next season is that we in theory have the opportunity to really trim the squad numbers wise. You don't need as many for only Serie A.

Tare has a full summer of work ahead of him. I really hope we land the coach question within a weeks time. Land the setup, and then start planning and action based on SD and coach. Build a team in accordance with the coachs preference.
That was also one of the reason why we created/needed Futuro.
We'd no longer need an overpaid 3rd GK who never plays, or 3rd-4th backup for every position.
They could just bring in the likes of Jimenez/Bart/Vos or whomever if the first and second option were injured.

But sure, now with no European games, it should allow us to go full on quality instead of quantity, and I really hope that we do.
Build a slim squad list oozing of quality and then get depth for the season after.
Every dead weight should be offloaded, one way or another.

Reijnders’ sale will be like Tonali’s, they will not replace them with players of similar characteristics. Why? Because players with such obvious talent will either go to a more ambitious club or will be overpriced for our budget. They both bring quality and quantity.

My guess is they will use the record sale of 75-80 mil to get Ricci, 1 Moncada finding and plug a hole or two in the team elsewhere. It is very possible we won’t make the CL next season too as Napoli, Inter, Atalanta, Juve and even Roma would be ahead in terms of their sporting project. We are Lazio/Bologna level but with a bigger name.

A more ambitious or smart owner would take the L now, keep all star players, invest like 50 mil (on top of fodder sales and releases) to build a super competitive team that will fight for Scudetto next season. Money will return with sporting success. That’s the long term sporting vision which we probably do not have.

If we sell Tij just so we can buy Ricci for 60% of what we'll get we might as well go back to letting our players' contracts run out. Less frustrating that way

Replacing Reijnders with different characteristics is the one thing that might be a bit positive in the transfer. He was always a bit attacking for the double pivot. The characteristics point would hit harder if we'd play him in a mid of 3 imo

Longo said we like Leoni, Udogie and Coppola for the defense, Ricci and Nicolussi Caviglia for the midfield, Lucca and Piccoli for the offense. I mean it is clear what he is saying, a new italian Milan. I completely disagree with it, to want italian players in this era where our National team is at its lowest after missing two world cups and being ridiculed in the last Euro is madness. Barella, Bastoni and Kean are probably our best players and this should tell you a lot. I told you about Ricci many months ago, we like him but i don't see nothing special in him
From GK up to CDM/CM I think Italians still very good. From CM to ST is where Italy suffers. Imo the heart of our team must be Italian. I think there is a disconnect between some foreign players and the values of the club. In the absence of a figure like Maldini who instills those values we need players who naturally have an attachment to the jersey. Milan is a national heritage. Italian players may give that extra something. Don't get me wrong TALENT is required in addition to passion but defensively I think Italy still has players who excel there. Get us 2 Italian CBs (I wish we bought Buongiorno) and a couple strong Italian mids. Maybe Lucca as well but I dont rate him much.

Fans should burn down San Siro if they sell Tijji.

If there's one person on the team who should be untouchable, it's him. Money is not a problem, money can be obtained by selling other players (looking at you Leao, Theo, Tomori/Thiaw etc).

Dude what would you do ? Earning top money in Man city, and playing for the prices. Or stick In Milano with this shit management and no Europe ?

You would be stupid not to accept that.
And next year his value will be less

30M for Thiaw, hell yes.

Anything <100M for the one and only Tijy, no.

Especially if it's City knocking on the door. FFS.

If Tijjani was Inter player they would have sold him for minimum 80 millions.

Disaster season brings painful sacrifices. Worst thing is we lost continuity. This management destroyed everything. Marotta is two levels above our management.

Not great translation, but I think he says allegri been following us for some time

At a certain point Allegri watched all the Milan games and said: 'I can't see Leao there, I would play him more as 2nd striker'. Journalists who follow Milan showed me the messages: a participation in following Milan of someone who is sure of going

I just met Theo, asked him many times if he is going to stay and he did not reply, the lawyer who was with him, told me he will stay in the end
Just a question

Do any of the players you meet know that you are on this forum?
