I have come to realize that when I respond to counter-arguments, what is defined as "twisted" is either 1) the person did not read what I wrote carefully enough and/or 2) they are sad because I addressed their counter and found it lacking, and they are unable to respond with actual counter-arguments.

Let's take the idea that Tonali is not a DM. My post clearly stated "vaguely DM types" which included players who are not strictly DMs, like Enzo or Gravenberch.

Do you know what's funny? Tonali is playing as a single-pivot DM for Newcastle and has been widely praised, pushing Bruno into a more 8-like position.

The fact that you think my post was about Tonali as if I haven't gotten over him, like I have been pining over him, again, underlines that you are missing the point. I am not the sort of person (nor do I have a track record) of pining for Tonali's return or defending his actions, etc. I don't care that they sold Tonali, sell everyone, but they're bad at selling. If selling players is going to be the cornerstone of their business, they should get better at it.

I'd appreciate it if you'd refrain from talking about what my profession should or should not be, I am not interested in talking about other people's character, I simply like discussing Milan in-depth without the sort of personal elements that you seem compelled to bring in.

Those who I have a rapport with, I gladly joke around with and poke fun at, etc. I do not have this with you, so I'd appreciate it if you kept your commentary to the four corners of the subject matter, which, unfortunately, I believe you have misunderstood.
I enjoy your essays and insights dude. It’s what makes you you on here. Never stop.

Which reminds me…I want to come back to our discussion from a few months ago on whether Italian football can offset to a degree its competitive disadvantage with good management. Especially in light of PSG 5-0 Inter. Soon.

Define "good management". Because I haven't seen any of that in all of Italy apart from the 4 and a half years that Elliot was in charge of Milan.

Wow Italy is terrible. Beautiful goal by Moldova, lovely cross.

Just saw that it was cancelled for offside. No idea why Italian defenders don't man mark inside the penalty area.

The interview was released May 14th, not months ago... It was weeks ago. A simple google can tell you that

His exact quote? "The management has massacred him. Bennacer is an exceptional player, underrated. What he has given to Milan is exceptional."

Don't defend the guy, he said what he said.
And whats wrong with that?
Although his peak at Milan was much shorter than we expected, the height Bennacher reached at that point was just a step away from world class

Never understood how countries like Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan play in UEFA.

I'd even put Turkey and Russia in Asia, there's like 10% of each in Europe.

I consider MM to have dropped off significantly. He was a little better this season but I can see why we’d want to move off of him, especially if he won’t extend.

Theo is unfortunate as he is talented but unmotivated and has been poor in mentality and play for almost two seasons.

I would expect him to flourish in a new team but probably fall off after 2-3 seasons wherever he ends up due to his mentality.
Honest question.

Is there any other keeper out there better than him that we can actually afford and that would agree to come?
