Can we stop including this guy in list of players we should sell too?

Better than the players we are happy to spend 30 mil on too. And we want to sell him for half that? No thanks.

4 goals 6 assists in 1236 mins.

Adli gets fucked against the ball, but maybe a more zonal approach and 3 mids will help him there. Still I can´t see him deal well with agile, explosive players

I'd like to see Pavlovic, Fofana, and Gimenez in a better environment I don't want to write them off

but obv its not great so far
Of those three, Pavlovic is the one I have the least faith in.

Santi came in at a tough time and still scored goals, I worry about his build-up play, it just isn't there. Fofana just looked shattered, we ran him into the ground, even if during his on-form period he kept shooting poorly (and made some annoying passes) but whatever.

The rest though? I'm sorry, it's an utter disaster.

Kone really sums it up you know I won't ever get over that

They liked him and chased him for years and just were so ill prepared to close when there was an opportunity and even facilitated a rival stealing him

absolute ******s
It's why I have such venom for them, they're not good at the thing they're doing.

Esteban? Sure
Andrea? Not convinced
Remember Allegri was obsessed with Sturaro at Juve
Man City offered 60 for him in January and got turned down

I don't really think there is a chance of us landing him, but he is a very, very good player

Sturaro, meh, never amounted to much, but Conte took him to the Euros in 2016, so both of them clearly saw something in him, tough to judge that imo, sometimes you see flashes of something in a player that just doesn't work out

Someone find his defensive stats at Fiorentina.

Weren't they among the best in Europe when he was finally a starter for us?

Allegri is already starting to piss off people. He does not want Ricci he must be too elegant for his shit football.

He will bring Rabiot Rabiot the slowest left winger in Europe.

He will put on the bench all the technical players and build his defensive shit football some will rejoice here with 1-0 victories with a goal from the Tibia. :fp:
The first sentence is kinda what I fear too.
I’m fine with Rabiot, elegant and physical midfielders can co-exist.
I fear we could miss out on something special with Ricci. And also the fact that the deal was done for a while and now we retracted at the last moment leaves a bad taste in my mouth, like there is miscommunication happening.

Them saying they are building around Leao means we will play catenaccio counter-attack garbage and Leao will miss most chances because he is shit.

I need to understand Ricci better. Is he elegant? I thought he was being discussed as a hard working DM. But before this summer and hearing people discuss him, I always thought he was more boxtobox.

Eitherway, not elegant. His alternative that I hope we get seems more complete and elegant.. Rovella. A DM who is a far superior passer.

From 2nd place to 3rd place
Not bad, considering all the senatori and Ibra/Silva left
Dude, do you not remember the home jersey that season? Such a downgrade from the previous season

They also are offering 70m for Reijnders when he is an overhyped Nocerino. These kind of money are chump change to oil sheikhs. 60 million for them is like 6 million for Milan.
Cambiaso has the most fodder face ever. He look like the Inter players who lost 5-0.

Then we agree to disagree mate.

This season was a combination of the bench being good, but not good enough to compensate for a shitty starting XI.

Last year our starters were performing whilst the bench was as well.

The year before that (with Tonali here), the starting XI performed, but we had 0 contributions from the bench, which also did not allow us to rotate properly and forced Pioli to chose just 1 competition to play in (he picked UCL).

Regardless of Pioli's misuse of Adli, the bench was ass in 22/23 and needed to be revamped, Rebic played 2 good games that season, CDK gave us 1 assist all year, the other players did not contribute to resting our starters or effectively rotating. We constantly dropped points when those players were subbed on, many due to mistakes from those very players.

And in the end money from the Tonali sale was indeed used to improve that bench.
How many injury crises did we have under Pioli? How many times did we even get to rely on our starting XI under Pioli?

The bench that we relied on last year included players like Adli, who took over as a starter after Krunic got injured early in the season before leaving in January. A player who we got rid of, for... what? Musah? Terracciano? And now Bondo?

The bench in 23/24 was... Florenzi with 40 appearances, Kjaer with 25, Gabbia, Thiaw, and then Simic like... none of these players were bought with the Tonali money. In midfield, it was Bennacer, again, not bought with Tonali money. Pobega with 15 appearances, not with Tonali money. Musah, 40 appearances last year, was bought with Tonali money, great, how did he do? Terrible, right? Then we go to attack, our bench was... Chuk, Okafor, Jovic.

Yeah, Rebic and CDK were shit, but then you forget players like Saelemaekers and Messias. Chuk hasn't outperformed either season of Messias. Okafor did... what this year?

You keep saying that the bench was improved, please tell me the names of the bench players who we relied on? Jovic? He was free. Musah? Chuk? Pellegrino? Terracciano? Who are the players we spent money on that improved our bench that year? Okafor is the only one and he was shit this year.

I keep hearing that our bench is better but I have yet to hear the names of these bench players who we could have only bought with Tonali money, who are these people?

Well Suma said it wouldn't be the names that we think. I trust Allegri on this one.

Errors leading to goal was pretty bad for us if I remember correctly, he is just easy to get away from like in the game vs PSG.

Its funny, I've been on board for Ricci for a year now but then when I heard about Rovella and watched him, I leaned towards him more. Especially if he's got great defensive stats, like someone mentioned. So if Rovella is just as good defensively, it's obvious he's a lot better technically. But does he suit playing next to Fofana and Modric as much as Ricci?

We ended up with too many that were alike last summer. RLC, Musah, Pobega and Fofana. Limited players who like to drive with the ball and not much else. (Fofana can do more than that tbf)... So I hope we don't end up stocking on up the same sort of midfielder again. (Adli, Bennacer,Modric, Rovella, Caviglia)

Surely we want him over Ricci?

Rovella is massively better than Ricci imo.

He is both far better at defending and progressing the ball. I think he would fit in perfectly in a midfield with Fofana and Modric.

Issue is he always would have been expensive, and Sarri loves him, so that really complicates getting him

He plays in front of the defense. Busquets-type player. Not flashy but gets the job done.
That’s the impression I get from him.

He's more like Locatelli.

Sits in front of the defence, covers the space, plays simple and tidy.

I think we needed a player like him last few seasons.

Again with the stats huh?
PL stats are average as fuck
I’ve seen him play for Serbia NT, he’s Serbia Peter Crouch/Andy Carrol
Nothing special
Double digits or almost double digits in 3 out of 5 PL seasons? That´s not bad imo, especially around the turn of the decade most strikers in the PL struggled to get to double digits.

Pobega will be our Sturaro
Allegri needs a tardwangler to destroy the provincial mentality he has
Berlusconi came closest early on, but he wasn’t too involved anymore at that point

I remember Allegri saying Sacchi’s Milan played on the counter years ago :fp:

Man you want to prove that you are above me in term of smartness, putting on emphasis a concurrence, you're pathetic, just beacause I don't hold Tiji in high regard, you can't force me to put him among the best MC, being smart mean to you approving the fact that Reijnders is a beast, no dude, you can have your opinion on each player by deploying your arguments, at least I don't hit out at someone who treat my favorite calciatori as fodder, you're free.... 🆓
The fact that you didn't go read what I actually wrote about Tiji and instantly assumed that I was approving him as a beast already proves my point.

I'd tell you to go back and actually read my posts with your eyes wide open, but I highly doubt your pea-sized brain is capable of comprehending the base words that I wrote about Tiji and the situation around him.

I'm done talking to you, you racist ret@rd. Can't even attempt to read before having an intellectual conversation.
Go fuck yourself.
