I guess because it's a dry loan he will only get small amounts of playing time and will only be a back up. Imo I wouldn't even count on him. I still think we need a cam (if Paq leaves) and a rw. He is talented Diaz but no option no games.

But IMO the issue is nobody really can sub Ibra and he will miss a lot of games at his age.
Leao and Rebic can take his spot but when they do Pioli will have to tweak our playing style cause they're not pivots and they won't be at the end of those long balls...
That's obviously Pioli's call but I would totally look for a backup who is more of a traditional 9, good in the air.

Last season Rebic often moves to the center when Ibra dropped deep. It looks like Rebic will be the striker and Leao will come in as a LW. We can also give some minutes to Colombo and/Roback to sub in for Rebic.

We need a winger that posts double digit goals and assists. For example Salah in Serie A was regularly posting 15+ goals a season and tons of assists.

We cannot have a 2 goal 2 assist all season man as our starting RW. In fact Samu has scored like what? 14 goals in the last 6-7 years? That?s less than Salah was posting per season here in Serie A.

We need to badly upgrade the RW. Milan fans are used to very average players now

Not sure how everybody doesn?t see this. Rebic posted double digit goals for us to have the run we had. We need the other winger doing the same.

Samu has a lot of industry and works hard on the pitch but that?s about it. Very meager returns on goals and assists. He also doesn?t really beat his man nor create chaos in the opponents box.

Super average player and could be sold to a mid table Spanish side.

If he is our starting RW his production needs to vastly and exponentially improve for us to have a successful season
