We are unbeaten in 16 games.
Just won an imortant match against a team that is in form while missing important players.

People shitting on Maldini, Colombo and Tonali, wow.

Colombo scored a goal and did what he could have under the circumstances.

Maldini played well too. He was played out of his position. He tried helping in defense, ran a lot and scored a goal which was offside.

Tonali has a huge price tag to justify but the guy has played like 30 minutes in total and he needs time to settle in and get a grasp on things. After the international break he should be fine.

The only player that I have problem with is Samu. We really need an upgrade at RW.

CB, CM and RW is desperately needed and I hope after today's match, Maldini will work on that.

The Important thing was to win which we did. One more match to go and we are in the group stages.

Forza Milan.

Just watched some Mukiele and this is a Milenkovic 2.0 in terms of skills, physicality and versatility.

If Maldini and the team believes in this transfer I'm all for.

We need some more experience I think. Yeah we won today without Ibra, but a lengthy absence and a row of bad results would certainly put the confidence of this squad at risk.

Yes go fucking sign a CM when we already have three top starters for two spots and ignore the RW... every time we seem very close to completing our squad, we just fucking stop and not finish the god damn business.. fuck them

Colombo (sorry to say it, but he was exposed as an absolute fraud today, he will take the same path as Daniele Maldini, quote me on this one too).

18 - Lorenzo #Colombo is the youngest #Milan player (18 y, 200 d) to score a goal in all competitions since M?baye #Niang against Reggina in Coppa Italia in December 2012. Promise.

Writing off a player at 18 years. Wow. And you're calling others delusional!?

I'm not the one who will write off Colombo but let's be real, he's probably another Petagna in the making. Actually, he can be happy if he can reach his level. :o

Big, bulked, not so fast... classic poacher. These type of strikers are almost useless today.

I think a dilemma will be available for us fans after the mercato, of course depending on our deals.

Either we imagine several signings will lift the quality of the team immediately and we will secure top 4 through the mercato. These signings may or may not succeed, but purely acquiring certain players seems according to some to secure our chance at a 4th place.

The other take is that it isn't the signings, but the nucleus of this team that will secure 4th. Instead of new signings coming in, it is our squad of talented players continuing their development under Ibra's watchful guidance and leadership that will make us real contenders for 4th. In this perspective a signing or two doesn't make or break that chance at 4th, but the right signings with the right effect is needed to make it more certain.

I'll admit there is an inbetween here, but I gather this as the two approaches people in here at least, employ when looking at whether this season will be garbage or not.

I have a pretty firm stance in camp #2, but I'm worried our innate insecurities will flourish in the event of an Ibra injury and a bad row of games. I take it as a given that we will sign a CB, Maldini said as much.

PS: I think Pioli and the club will end up trusting Calabria for RB. He is young after all, and has shown plenty of quality despite inconsistency.

He is not fast. But strong and a killer left foot and is in the right place when needed like today at his young age. What are you saying man. Any player who is capable of scoring goals is welcome. He has started 1 game and scored 1 goal. He has the potential to be world class. A laser left foot on its own makes you a good player. Good players have one X factor and for him.its that left boot.

Tonali needs to work a lot, I've warned before signing him, it's a bet.

I will be very happy if he does well, and maybe he will, but the truth is that last season at Brescia he was not Bennacer/Kessie level.

Such typical Milan move. We get players who score against us

RMCSport: Negotiations took place today between AC Milan and Tottenham.
The Rossoneri would like to sign Serge Aurier on a permanent transfer.

Why?

That would be great, because we could use him as sub and sell him later for 15-20m euros, great plusvalenza for FFP

And what Lukaku is? Isn't Serie A top scorer a bulky poacher? What about Lille's 80M player Pepe? What about the top rated youngster Boadu?

Since when scoring good goals is being considered "useless"?

You want Patrick Schick?

People talk here like if football is just one standard that you can't have different type of players who can all do something that can be useful. Colombo has showed good things. I've never seen Cutrone or Petagna attempting some great shots like his. He is only 18, and he showed shoting skills of top strikers.

Man, Lukaku is fast and he can dribble. Bad comparison. :o

Cutrone looked even better but he's also classic poacher who is useless outside box. They can be good for midtable/relegation clubs or eventually backups in bigger ones but that's all, nothing more nothing less.
I'm not saying that he can't be useful from bench but some people here talk like he'll become great player in the future... yeah sure he will. :o

Being strong and having good left foot is not enough. But fine, I want him to be next Petagna so we can sell him for around 15m, not a bad idea. It's always nice to sell Primavera players, from FFP point of view. :o

It was a tough match. Maybe we should just acknowledge that Bodo might just be a good team from a sh!t league. Plus we're missing a few key players at the moment. No need to panic.
One thing though, Tonali is SUPER raw. I was expecting him to be a little more reliable and ready with that price tag.

My point exactly. Bodo is Norwegian team, yes. But still, they play good direct football, in 18 rounds of Norwegian champoonship they are first, 16 (!) points above second placed team with goal difference of +46.

Besides, they gave us a headache in last 20minutes which was clearly because they are match fit after 18 rounds, whereas we are just starting. Relax people, 1 leg match is also not convenient for favourites, so we should be happy we dodged a bullet with a tricky opponent
