I miss being owned by Elliott. They behaved not much unlike Gerry but at least they were a supremely powerful, effective and maybe even dangerous organization.

Gerry is a huge disappointment thus far, I hope we get some sort of involvement from him in February. Complete no-show during the current turmoil is not leadership.
Greedy Elliot was active everywhere except with us.

In this past year, they took a majority stake in Salesforce and substantial stakes in Paypal and AT&T. They have upwards of $50 bln. But they will not spend a penny unless they're guaranteed a profit. They're good at shaking things up, cutting costs and stabilizing a company. But not ideal for a football club who sometimes need to spend more than they generate in revenue to stay competitive.

We need stupid money aka Arab money because I don't see us actually becoming a "profitable investment" as long as the Italian league is struck in their archaic ways.

We had our chance to improve (look at arsenal..they are first and they were planning on getting mudryk on top of that) and build on momentum and get ziyech on the cheap pre WC

He was willing to play with players like gabbia and calabria...krunic and messias

Now he will play with hakimi messi mbappe neymar veratti etc etc etc etc etc etc

MGMT SLEEPING..and our italian players are so shit

Other teams have the some decent ones. Florenzi is one of those decent ones but injuries :fp:
I think Ziyech might continue to ride the bench in London..

hour and a half left for psg to pay up and doesnt look like its moving much

We don't need stupid money, but we need a bit more smart money  We need to continue being healthy and grow with our revenue. All of which we still are, despite all doom and gloom.

Despite what's happening in Europe PL is not big enough for all of Europe. We have a chance, if we continue to move in the right direction. Most people lose IQ points diametrically opposed to their emotional reaction, so everyone screams for action and change on the spot. Not the guys you want in a crisis. We have had a shit month but if we manage to turn it around, which we will, things are pretty much in place.

Hopefully enough funds are given to Maldini in the summer. He deserves more freedom.

I thought spending half a billion euros in one season equals instant title win? Isn't that what happens when you 'win' the mercato?
Most of them are just transferred . Also it is long term plan, most of them are very young players. Also their rivals also spending (of course not that much)

Spending of course is not the only criteria but you should repair the holes. Last summer we were champions. And we became champion with 9 men without proper amc and rw. I was thinking oh we can dominate the league because we were the only team with such obvious flaws I didn’t even see in any team last 20 years. We were very good in 9 positions but we were like a relegation team in the other 2. Also giroud was at most a sub and we should buy a striker and we lost kessie so we should buy a midfielder. Other areas wasn’t priority. For example people say backup left back it wasn’t necessary because as backup for just 4-5 matches florenzi , calabria , kalulu all can play there.

So we were in need for just 4 position, transfer window finished , we spent 50 million and we still in need for that 4 position. There is no slightest improvement. For example instead of getting messias we could give that 5 million for ziyech loan with option or obligation to buy at the end of the season. So rw problem would be solved. We could sell backup pobega for 15 m. So we would have 65 m. Also we would resign romagnoli and don’t buy thiaw so we would have 72 m budget. I am just thinking for example firmino is not playing. We could buy firmino for 30 m. So striker problem solved. We could buy Enzo 20 m cm problem solved. So we would still have 22 m and our line up would be
Enzo-Tonali-Bennacer
Ziyech————-Leao
—-——Firmino

Do you think that team would struggle like this team? Our key players are exhausted because our attacking players are leao 😂 we have just 1 plan. Leao only option. Tonali Bennacer only option in the midfield. Substitutes even some first 11 players are relegation players.
If a team with cdk and Diaz on amc , messias on right wing get relegated I don’t say this is surprise.

This is not Milan. Milan have a shameful squad. This squad shouldn’t be champion. We fooled ourselves. We have some amazing players.
-Last year maignan, tomori , kalulu, Theo , kessie , tonali , Bennacer , leao , ibra, giroud and a little bit calabria. This players made us champion.
-Now we lost maignan due to injury,
-we lost ibra he is finished,
-we lost kessie,
-calabria is a ghost in defense after injury.
-Tomori kalulu are exposed because our tactic now totally revealed by other managers also they don’t have a kessie in front , they don’t have a maignan in back. They are like childs who lost their parents suddenly they don’t know what to do.
-Bennacer and tonali are playing every game . They are not rotating with kessie, they didn’t even play with krunic , I say it because he was helping them. They are trying to hold midfield by theirselves for whole season just 2 guys no backups.
-leao is in contract renewals and he is confused, he is also very alone because we have no other threat and rivals know this.

So now pioli , maldini and we are shocked why champion milan is total disaster now. I think asking why is the weird thing , it is very obvious. All our pillars are broken and MM is the first responsible for this clown show. Injuries are the second one. Pioli is the third one because he should see we are collapsing and try different things .

We burn out this players. We left them alone. Tonali, Bennacer , leao , , Theo kalulu , tomori . Think about what I write before. They are not responsible ones even they have zero responsibility. We fucked all of them. Maldini fucked all of them. Pioli fucked all of them.

Think about a company there is 20 people work but you are just 8 people doing all work, 2 of you are leaving and your boss instead of hire new 4-5 people at least , hiring 12 ******ed people with 30 iq. Now you have to do this 20 people work by only 6 people. Then of course you become finished. And fool people around you ask why you are like this you weren’t like that before.

Take kessie out and say tonali to Bennacer you will play 60 matches in a year with no backup in the midfield , you will defeat inter and Napoli 3 man midfields by you 2.

Say leao we will only attack by your side every rival will know this and mark you with 2 defender and you will change every game while we are thinking if we give you a contract

Say kalulu and tomori, we are taking maignan from behind and putting a Gk without reflexes and intelligence behind you also it is not enough we are taking the tank who is confronting rival attackers out and not putting anyone there. Now you are alone with rival attackers and you will run back all the game without a gk and dm.

The other players in our squad that I didn’t mention are total garbage and we are playing just with 9-10 men not even 11. If we take this men I mentioned out this team relegates. Messias , salad , cdk , Diaz , krunic , pobega , always injured origi .always injured rebic, Gabbia , finished kjaer, ballo toure , bakayoko , always injured florenzi, tatarusanu, mirante. This is Shame. This is not Milan.

So why we are not gonna be champion again , I think pretty obvious

Talking shit about Brk is really weird to me.

With what information was public, you would have expected Milan to spend more than it did. There were reports to point things in that direction (as well as in the other direction) as well, but more importantly, there were numbers and space to make that sort of prediction.

Brk isn't an asshole to anyone, he's calm, careful, and explains himself, even to those who don't deserve it. I cannot remember him getting personal with anyone, and keeps the argument within the four corners of the debate at hand, not about personalities behind the words.

So, if you feel vindicated because Milan is finally playing like shit after your "prediction" that they were shit, that was wrong for three years, while Milan won a title (I'm sure you guys were predicting that shit, right?)--I'm happy for you. But to take it out on Brk over the spending? He's not Gerry. He's not Maldini. I think he was pointing to something that looked like it was going to happen, they were cutting costs and increasing revenues, it looked like they were creating room for new players. They didn't. No one knows why.

Brk is also the one who brought up the lists, that everyone laughed at (including myself) and he was right about that. And countless other things.

A man's gotta have a code, I guess, and I just feel like people who aren't participating in the game, should be left alone. Brk doesn't dirty himself by making personal attacks or making fun of people (arguments maybe, but not people [there's a difference]) and to come outta nowhere and try and shit on him? I dunno man. I get being pissed off at me, I rub people the wrong way and have an annoying attitude. This circlejerk of negativity makes sense during this moment, but trying to call out names, particularly the ones who are the least confrontational? Especially from names that don't appear when things are going well?

It's fucking weird to try and banter with someone who you don't have a rapport with, or take shots at someone who doesn't do that kinda shit.

How dare you ponder sensibly and rationally about such topics.

Anyone who shits on @brk should go fuck themselves. Probably the best and most informed non-professional football writer in English, on any forum.

Lol... nobody is saying this abt Brk. We're just joking that he's still steadfast in his support... when the rest of his partners are flip-flopping.

Also high fashion, best sports cars, best cuisine, unequaled arts, great music, member of G7 of the most industrial countries. Yes, our politicians suck and I hate the bureaucracy but to say Italy is a third world country is probably the most ignorant statement I ever heard here.
more than 'pioli should be given a chance until the end of the season'?
