Our system is reliant on two main components > Theo & Leao. They are literally the catalysts for everything good about this Milan. Take Theo, Leao, and Ben out. There is no functional system.

Our attack has been individually assisted all season. Pioli set out to brutalize a clearly inferior opponent today. The top teams will use that against us.

This Milan can play soo much better. Pioli needs to rethink and make adjustments during the Dubai break, and he surely will. That I don't doubt.

Don't get the CDK criticism, ffs give him some more time. Leao needed about 3 years to really shine. CDK didn't have any preseason preparations with the team, moved to a new country and a big team like Milan, he's still very young and so all of that can be a bit overwhelming. Tonali stayed in his home country and still needed a whole year to show why we bought him. So please be a little more patient with our youngsters.

Someone who is disappointing though is Origi. I don't want to judge him just yet, he still didn't play that much. There's something I'm really missing though, I don't really see any passion from him. Compared to players like Tonali, Theo or Giroud (just to name a few) it's almost like he doesn't really care. Maybe it's just me, but that's what I see.

He had been playing well, but today he was toothless and seemed less interested (Origi).

Fans are always this way with young and hyped players. They expect instance results be it from Tonali, Leao, or CDK. What is so stupid is the fact that we have multiple examples of players taking time to settle in before exploding. If half of this board and the Milan fan base had its way, the kid that created Giroud’s goal tonight would be playing for Brescia in Serie B.

All of that said, I think Pioli needs to shut CDK down until we return from the WC break. He is struggling and the San Siro is grumbling every time he is on the ball and taking too long to make a decision. Give someone else a chance and give CDK a chance to reset a bit and come back strong.

It's a tweak, I just see him being more effective when he joins the attack. Last year his runs into the box literally won us the scudetto. I feel like he can fulfill much more of his potential if he has the freedom to advance, knowing that he js covered by Bennacer and another holding mid. This is also because the AM role is not functioning as smoothly as we have hoped.

In an ideal setting (for myself), I would have Bennacer-(Kessie) in front of the defence, with Tonali a bit more advanced and lets say a functioning CdK coming in from the right and Leao, Giroud.. etc.
