You guys are pathetic and boring with your little feud, like two 12 year old girls fighting. Who gives a fuck what you think of each other? If you're trying to be funny with the insults it's not working, it makes you both look like imbeciles. Maybe you both need a time-out. And what's this about age? What difference does it make how old a poster is? Isn't he also allowed to have an opinion?

That's true

Remember when Thiaw didn't play all season and then came on during the ending of a game and completely saved 3 points on his own

And then was hardly ever seen again

What a manager Pioli is he can really do no wrong

Don't even get me started on poor Aster or his use of Shitalaere
For me Vranckx hasnt shown enough to earn anything but yes possibly shouldve had some of the chances that Pobega got. Milanator is right about CDK though
- CDK had the role given to him and only lost it when he just didnt do anything....that said he shouldnt have come off last match and that one substitution probably showed us how paralysed Pioli has become with respect to trying the newer players.

I think Thiaw is a victim of old Italian thinking and probably wouldve played alongside Fikayo more if Tomori was going well. I think Thiaw definitely earned a chance.

Not enough. They all need to be tortured and burned alive right at the San Siro center circle.

Okay, il make the pyre, you keep making shitty mediocre jokes.

What if Leao took this stance this summer?

And the team he prefers offer is 10-15m lower than other ones but he can reject and play out the contract next season and go for free?
that depends. What were the indications leading to Leao taking this theoretical stance? Because that's whats important in understanding why he would and what I would think about it.

I don't think zaniolo would take his current stance had roma not turned on him. I can empathize with his situation. I too would be pissed off at the club if I recovered from two acl injuries only to find that the club has signed another player in your role and instantly made him new king of rome. Though they should never had heralded a young prospect as the next totti in the first place. Roma lacked sincerity with zaniolo and his future.

Lol Roma are just digging their own grave deeper and will have no leg to stand on during negotiations this summer. After all, they badly need capital gains so can't afford to let him walk for free next year and will be practically FORCED to accept whatever Maldini offers.

c.15-20m plus bonuses should do the trick.
Why would they be forced to accept our offer? I bet if Roma tell Zaniolo go abroad or sit for a year, he will puss out

Man Roma's gone nuclear on Zaniolo. He's still young, so hopefully they don't stretch this out too long.

I can understand Roma's anger. We were in a similar situation with Donnarumma and Kessie, and we all often vented our frustration here as fans. Zaniolo is a brat, we all know that.

But as a club, AS Roma is behaving in an absolutely unprofessional and even negligent manner. Starting with Mourinho's statements. They are effectively giving Zaniolo up for grabs. Fans besiege his house and threaten his and his family's lives. This is in no way excusable or understandable. He scratched the ego and pride of these fans. That does not justify this behaviour.

But instead of condemning this behaviour of their own fans or at least asking for restraint (something any serious club should do), something like this comes out. Sure, the 95% of fans are reasonable and just angry (understandable). It's the remaining 5% of lunatic and dangerous violent criminals that worry me and are even incited by Roma.

What a dirty club.

Disagree, Aster has shown he offers something unique in the midfield which is more valuable than whatever Pobega and DE KURNIC bring

Charles is playing a flawed system and role, even when Diaz is there it looks terrible. He has a confidence issue but he is obviously misused, you could say the dumb role he is playing has added to that because he isn't like this when he first arrived

The fact the corpse of Kjaer gets playing time over Thiaw is mind-boggling. The guy is a walking blunder on both sides of the ball, if he plays vs Inter he will make Lukaku look like prime Ronaldo

Pioli has fumbled this season to the highest degree and if people here don't see it by now there's really no reason in explaining it

What a loss that torino game in coppa was. Cremonese are beating Roma 0 2. I am still in shock at our football in Jan. And i will never forget what pioli did to us this month. MM and Pioli should be embarrassed

Yeah, Roma's behaviour is really immature. What big club acts in such a vindictive manner. I hope it was all just an elaborate ploy to win the perception war. They can't possibly be serious.

We passed on the easiest Coppa path to final in the history because we lost against Torino playing with 10 men at SS. Grande Pioli

Brahim for 20 million or Zaniolo for the same amount? I think most would agree Zaniolo to be the better purchase. I don't see us spending 20 million on Brahim. He was given enough time and he couldn't prove himself. The No. 10 jersey needs to be worn by someone worthy of it.

Torino -Fiorentina- Cremonese....easy route to the Final. Could have given minutes to the likes of Adli, Vranckx and Thiaw.

Not at all. Just an observation that we could have cruised to the final if not for this terrible form we're in.

With that said, any trophy winning season is better than a trophy-less season.

Between the two I'd go for Zaniolo, because I think he's more talented and as you said, Diaz has more than blown his chance now. But ideally not Zaniolo either, due to his injuries. The last thing we need is another Caldara-like situation.

Of all the trophies on offer it's the lowest ranked. Last thing I want are extra games thus risking our players getting injured or tired over this cup.

Not worth it one bit.

MMM should all be fired if they paid 20mil for Diaz.
Zaniolo has like 20% to be a useful player while Diaz is guaranteed to be mediocre.

Zaniolo: ‘I am at the complete disposal of Roma’

‘The future is in our hands and I hold out mine, putting myself at the complete disposal of the Roma family.’

“Many things have been said and written in the last few weeks that are not true,” read Zaniolo’s letter to news agency ANSA.

“I arrived at Roma as an unknown player and the fans welcomed me as one of their own. They gave me confidence, courage and affection in the terrible and dark moments of my injuries.

“In Tirana, with that goal, I felt that I had repaid them for all that I had received, contributing to a great and unforgettable moment of joy for all Romanisti.”

“At the age of 23, I have been through experiences that many of my colleagues haven’t had in their entire careers: falling down, getting back up, falling again, climbing once more, winning.

“In the last few months, it has been a delicate period for me, when it became difficult for me to understand what my professional future would be. However, I always worked hard on the pitch and in training with the utmost professionalism.”

Honestly, both would be a waste of money.

Zaniolo's only advantage is that he is Italian and you can find him a position on the field. Diaz is neither that good nor does he have a position on the field (him as a CAM, laughable, we absolutely have to give this up).
