What I will say though is that the times when a super rich individual could take a club to the top is over.

In order to compete on the transfer market we’d need a shady sovereign state to buy the club, and that’s seemingly not what’s happening now.

The fact that such info leaked and none of the parties denied the rumors probably means that they leaked it themselves. I mean, we all know who Elliott are and how they do business.
