This! People get so caught up in names, and forget that so often it comes down to chemistry, system and just straight up will to win (mental characteristics). Maybe we didn't have players with the biggest clout, but we had players who were faster, fit the system and knew what their roles were. How many times does a team filled with "stars" and clouted players have to fail horrendously to show that there may be other better ways to build teams. Personally I would rather have a functioning system and not worry about what the player's names are. We are naive thinking that pobega could be kessie or that bakayoko could have minutes,if we play bakayoko for 1 minute we are crazy.

Bakayoko and Diaz should both be send back to their clubs. Pobega might not be Kessie, but I like to see him stay and develop. Krunic is a handy man, but not starting level material either.
