would love zapata he is a must for us arsenal have just had a £9.5mil turned down and udinese are asking for £15.8mil, would also love veloso here but i hignly doubt we will spend big on 3 players, we might just get drogba and thats it.

I think management were trying to steal Veloso offering Grimi & Digao as part of the deal bringing down the his price:tongue: is what I think I read either here or on some site.

We have enough DM's, aqcuiring Zapata or a young CB like him should be given high priority, which is why it probably won't be done. It makes too much sense.

£15.8mil is totally impossible for B&G to spend on one player, especially on a defender, ESPECIALLY on a young defender.

we have a good relationship with udinese, braida also does so we should just wrap this deal up before he goes to another team hes only 21 and can be our rock for the next 10 years but i just cant see us spending big on a striker and a defender.

we should use some youth players as part-exchange give them paloschi on loan, give them brocchi.

come on milan!!!!

solution to us not paying much is too offload our classy reserves :D :D , im sure emerson, brocchi, favalli, grimi will brign dwn the prices and will be wnted by clubs worldwide :D :D

ye i know how to count, ye i took maths up to GCSE, ye i live in UK i know what a pound is, what the hell do u expect for players to suddenly become available for $3m euros - get real u dnt have a clue, no talented center back playing for a top flight club is going to join milan for anything less than at least £10m, and i take it u will agree (for once) that zapata isnt just your average top flight player hes young, international experience, serie A experience (important to us) and hes very good defender and apparenly available, i mean what do u expect :conf: :conf:

Galliani is negotiating with Chelsea for Drogba and $hevchenko. After that happens Milan will have 4 class forwards and Boriello will be off probably for some exchange or as a bonus for some player.

Milan simply needs to go for Zapata, and maybe include Boriello or Brocchi or Emerson in the deal.

Gourcuff is off to a loan deal in Bordoux. That is a good choice. Blanc is a good coach and Bordoux will play CL next year and have good squad.

I expect Milan to try to sign Drogba and Sheva ( for a loan deal on free), and then go for Zapata or Mexes as Galliani suggested. Zapata is Braida's wish, Mexes Galliani's. But Zapata is a BETTER choice and we need that palyer.

After that Abiatti will becoume our no.1 GK and we will wait untill the end of the summer for Barca to accept our extremly small offer of 15-20 mln for Ronaldinho.

Drogba, Sheva, Flamini, Zambrotta, Maggio, Zapata, Abbiatti, Marzoratti, maybe Ronaldinho - that could be our mercato.

i hope you're wrong on drogba + sheva frontline. 1 they proved they cant play together at chelsea.... 2 even thoguh drogba is class. There are so many better options that fit our current situation. We arent trying to win CL next year.....

i guess i would like to see other targets persued too such as younger more prospect players but i know the management wnt go after such targets when these players are available therefore id still be really excited and happy if drogba or ronaldinho or eto arrives as they would still privde world class service, but we do seriously need to look for the future there are many areas which in 1-2 years will be very vulnerable

15.8m is almost what we payed to get gilarasshead and he was our most expensive signing when we got him if im not wrong.. you dont say 'hes available for JUST 15.8m pounds???' money doesnt grow on trees, i dont expect him to be 3m euros but 15.8m is a total rip off hes worth something like 14m euros, and i would really like to have him here at milan but that depends if our captain decides to retire or not

now thats how u make a response/argument, believe it or not i do have intelligence of some level, do know what pounds are and realise where money comes from
ye i understand where yur comin from but to me its one of the best opportunities to sign young talent wev had or got should i say at the moment, and playing center back is less pressure than being a lone striker incharge of getting all our goals with only kaka to run up and support him, a center back should find it easier to settle and perform on a personal level in our system
i say JUST because i thought he was one of the biggest younng talents if not the biggest in his position - yet udinese put that asking price on him to clubs in their league

so if we surrounded gila with another million strikers he wouldve done well? it has nothing to do with this, its about the personality and gilas has a weak one, and 16m pounds is usually too much of a risk to pay on a 20 year old, but i think zapata has a strong personality eventhough i dont think hes worth anything close to that much

yes i know how to answer u back but im in a milan forum, if i met u on the street then i would insult u or answer u back properly, and what makes u think i would be scared of u

as i sed u got a problem make a thread or take my hotmail account and u can continue yur insulting there, if not then why dnt u shut up or talk respectfully, it not as if its just annoying me ,no one on this forum wants to discuss something when yur speaking like that, i really didnt ask Milano84 or Erik77 to 'go against u', believe it or not they too might think yur being asshole

jivara, you must realize that for every shitty player nowadays clubs want more than 10m€. so even this is about pound, for good young player maybe 16mP isnt too much. the problem is, that our management doesnt want to spent, but they want to win everything.

and you all must realize that sheva is still very very good. and if we get him for less than 10m, we have done big thing.

are there 2 of u :conf:
one comment is normal the next yur attacking me - and again i can also be sarcastic and say how a team can only field 11 players so my plans wernt quite surrounding him with million striker - i just think he had it hard here and he has good ability and could have made it here, nothing more nothing less

and to a degree thats true, but he doesnt have mroe than 2 years in him. So 10 mil for 2 possibly productive years. where as 20-25 mil can get us 8-10 productive years (huntelaar)

lower salary too.

i just dont get it. Its not cheapness, its bad business. Spend 10 mil on sheva. in 2 years buy another player and then another. Meanwhile we coul get a guy at double the cost entering his prime

I couldn't agree more. I'll always be a fan of Shevchenko and always will be. The 8 years or so of watching him at Milan will never be forgotten. Having said that, he is not what Galliani and company should be looking for. What are we trying to accomplish by signing him? He hasn't been the same dominant player for Chelsea and I understand the difference in style between the Premier League and Serie A. I really hope time and resources aren't wasted negotiating for the services of a player who would be more of an emotional signing than a tactical one when it can be spent on trying to acquire the Eto'os, Huntelaars, Benzemas, Villas etc of the world. Sure they cost a lot more money but they are investments and assets. I don't think Liverpool regrets dishing out 20 million pounds (or whatever it was) for Fernando Torres last year...
