As far as I know you cant VAR situations that happen out of the penalty box? Some one correct me if Im wrong.

If there is a goal , it doesn't mean where the situation is.
For instance 2nd Bergamo goal had to be disallowed - clear offensive foul.

looked like he went down easy but my point was there was no reason for him to be even in that position - we were na?ve

Not at all
You can also see from his South American grinta that he isn?t the type to fall down easily. He ain?t no theo

Correcting. You are wrong

You are right

"What will VAR not review?
- Any yellow card (including second yellow card leading to red)
- Any free-kick offence outside the box, unless a red card offence or if it leads to a goal/penalty

It cannot review yellow cards but it can review situations leading up to a goal even if they're outside the pen box

who was it that talked about Leao perfecting his Kakaesque top corner curling shots?

Can you imagine Leao having that in his arsenal? The pace, the ability to get separation and now this type of shot?

game over. Now we have Tomori, and RL cheat coding for us

yes
we were screwed again so blatantly, it's just amazing
Either refs don't know rules or do it on purpose

The penalty situation the ball hit the hand first, look closely. Messias situation was 50/50 but more clumsy from Messias than a foul IMO.

Some of these posters really trying to be edgy
Penalty was 50/50. Second goal was a CLEAR foul

Leao is such an amazing troll player:D
Sometimes he does everything right and doesn’t score
Sometimes he jogs on the counter for no reason
Then sometimes he unleashes his rockets without warning

I think the only player who didn’t have a GREAT game was Diaz

Penalty shouldn't have been given because it ricocheted off him and hit his arm straight from there. They literally changed the rules so that it wouldn't be given in those scenarios.

Second goal from them shouldn't be given because he clipped Messias.

I was pleased with Messias. Tidier and faster than I expected.

In my mind, the only way to have handball fair is for any time it touches the players arm when it isn't flush against their body is a handball.

It would mean more penalties but otherwise it's just subjective for the sake of it.

Innovative from Pioli to deploy Theo as the holding midfielder in possession. He must've taken some notes from Pep and how he tucks Cancelo in as a midfielder.

Pioli has learnt so much from the Liverpool game and how they do things over in the Premier League. IIRC in the Juve game presser he spoke about how little the ball is in play in Serie A and the difference in rhythm and intensity between Serie A and Premier League.

One thing I want to see our forwards do is take the ball across the opponent and force them on to their backs. Rebic and Leao have the pace to do so but sometimes just opt in keeping it a bit more simple.

Maybe I'm just missing Pato's pace but I think in certain situations (there were a couple in the first half) they could get goal-side and force the defender to panic or back off giving them the 1v1 with the keeper.

Pioli: "Serie A is improving thanks to many coaches who are playing more proactive football. The Champions League is helping us, it has made us understand that we need to combine intensity and quality. I have also grown, with the club that has supported and protected me."

What's incredible is they're not even at full speed here. They can be faster than this if they want

Theo lost one or two steps while controling the ball.
Messias slowed down cause he decided to make a diagonal run after he passed the midfield line
Leao wasn't about testing their offside line, he just wanted to be a open for the pass

If this is the Messias we got then thats our AM right there.
Fast passing , can dribble , fast to attack spaces & hard working with defensive awarness.
Oh my .......

So , a fast RW in winter ?!
