Tbh if they wanna be a top club then they need to do better than this and get a player in the Zlatan Ibrahimovi'c class. I mean it's fine having Buffon, Pirlo and Chiellini, all three of them are some of the best in the world at what they do, and present a great spine, but they haven't got anyone who can really make the difference. Not sure who they'd get who can take them back to the top, but even though I think Quagliarela is a good player, and even though Matri have been excellent so far, I don't think it's them.

Krasic is also a very good player but not a game changer. What they really need is an elite SS (Augero or Rossi imo) to compliment Matri and Quags. then the need some quality depth signings and they should be dangerous since the have added big upgrades at FB which has been their biggest weakness

Yeah, I agree about their needs. To fix all this it goes a lot of money (central defender + top winger + WC forward and it's a hell of money already). It was reported they had a huge transfer budget, but without UCL football, let's see.

Also I can't assume they will have 100% of result. Huge are the risky some of those players will flop. I'm saying this cause they spended more than enough the last few years to rebuild the team. It's not like they didn't tried, they simply mistaken the great majority of the purchases. Amauri, Melo, Diego, Martínez, Poulsen, Almirón, Iaquinta, Tiago... All huge money and huge flops.

I rate Marotta higher then Secco. But he didn't do a much better job last season. This season he seems to be braining smarter so far. But I think he will need more than one summer.

But I don't rule out a top three for them.

Nah I don't think so. That's what people said last summer as well, so they went and spend 60 M euro's on squad players. So instead of trashing all of those squad players that they invested so much money in last season, they need to compliment them with the guys that makes teams win.

A club like Juventus need to be at the absolute top every season or it is a failure, just like here. Guys like Ziegler and Liechsteiner won't change that, and unless they bring in some top players, then they'll be stuck anywhere between 7th and 3rd, and then they'll blame the next batch of squad players, and the next batch and so on.

I'm not saying those signings are poor, but it won't matter if they don't take the next step.
