Nocerino to prove worth at Milan

Antonio Nocerino is desperate to illustrate that he is a player worthy of the Milan jersey.

The Italian international joined the Rossoneri on transfer deadline day for just €500,000 – a year before his contract in Sicily expired.

“This isn’t a point of arrival for me, it’s a point of departure,” the competitive central midfielder commented.

“I want to convince those people who chose me that they haven’t made a mistake in bringing me here.

“It’s now up to me to take advantage of this opportunity.
