Poor man's Derossi I reckon aswell, but probably a necessary signing with Gattuso way past it and Flamini a crock.

De Rossi right now is a poor man's De Rossi and Flamini...blessing in disguise for Milan.

If Nocerino can do what Gattuso did last season with a bit more pace and composure in the attacking phase then we made out like bandits and can drop major salary next year by moving on those older guys.

Antonio and Alberto have much to prove,

A bit late, but anyways, Welcome Antonio

It's good that we signed another player for the midfield, we really needed one more good player. I think Nocerino is good enough for Milan, he should be a good buy, hopefully.

and it's funny that he really is a Rino-look-a-like somehow

I hope he learns the Milan's love and passion from Gattu and the sacrifice to protect and respect for Milan's Jersey. (Not Gattus's craziest stuff for sure)

somehow he compliments midfield more than prince, I love prince but this guy is solid and he can score some goal from midfield, decent foot

The energy he brings, he will be a solid replacement for Gattuso and overall has more quality. Great work by B&G, after all he is Italian which is always a plus.

I'm pretty excited about Nocerino, but upset he's not taking the rightful #32.

He's our heir to Brocchi. We've been looking for since 2008.

I hope he has a bff like Veiri...

Yeah I was expecting him to use no. 32 too, it would've made so many Broccholi's happy.

BTW Vieri had waaayyy too many bffs now that I think about it, Maldini, Brocchi...and the ultimate: PIPPO.

What hasnt been said about Nocerino is that he is rarely injured and for that reason he will continue to develop.

Alos it is great to have players that play continously. For this reason Milan should sell players like Flamini and Pato.

Maybe Nocerino will explode at Milan, Gattuso was also a relative unknown before he came here.

originally i thought nocerino was purely a destroyer of the ball. a player who breaks up play and passes to someone like aquilani, then i watched some games of him from last year and it seems as he is more of a box to box footballer. kind of like de rossi.

shame he didnt play in any of italias qualifiers would of been good to see him in action.

These are the quotes of the day from Milanello from Antonio Nocerino.
Antonio Nocerino: “I have a great relationship with Antonio Cassano and Alberto Aquilani. I have learnt about Milan from playing for Italy but everyone knows about this club. Now it’s up to me to merit and enjoy this opportunity. I’ve never won anything but I want to and now I’m at a winning club, indeed the one that has won the most. Palermo helped me grow up and I owe it to them the fact that I’m now here. They are a good squad and the fans make the difference. I now aim to convince those who brought me here that they made the right choice. I will play where I’m called to play. The deal was done quick, when they informed me Milan had come in for me I was over the moon, it was a surprise. I’m not looking for revenge against Inter for beating us in the Coppa Italia, but to win the derby and finish above everyone is the objective of all of us. For Palermo it was a great achievement to reach the final. I owe a lot to Juventus, they helped me become a better player but I’m not angry at having left. Four years ago they chose to let me go but I have continued to play and I believe I have deserved this opportunity.

Nocerino: "I haven’t had the chance to talk to Gattuso yet but for sure he has a lot of advice that must be useful, as all the champions here have. I’ve worked very hard to play for the national team and will do everything to hold on to my place. When you arrive at a great club like Milan, you get to improve and grow, playing next to such quality team mates. We all have the same aim: to win.
