he said the whole team was poor vs Bologna.. that is one specific incident.

And he did not blame Allegri, reporter asked him how will Allegri help you grow, he said by giving my advices like Carlo did. This is not blame.

and btw, Zlatan never criticizes himself, ever! In fact, what did he do when Sacchi gave him a few pointers?

Pointers ? like "You scored the goal because you have big feet," :fp:

Back to topic .

Pato is struggle, unless youre blind and i fear he´ll leave or have to leave if Tevez arrive :(

Thought this was the Pato thread.. What does Ibra have to do with Patos answers?

Because everyone except Pato himself is to blame for his poor performance.

Remember, Pato will win Ballon d'Or six times and lead us to glory. He is worth 200 million euros.

Not really. He puts the blame on Allegri, and when he was poor he said everyone was. No selfcritism whatsoever. And he also said he's an important player for Milan, though hasn't been that important.

Shame, this way you won't reach your top.

lol, exactly where did he put the blame on allegri??

No, Ibra will be the one leaving if Tevez arrives.

Reading the actual interview it doesn't look too bad, but I felt he let some opinions escape from his mouth

He doesn't seem pleased with Allegri's management on him though. I hope that whole thing ends up being constructive for the team. Allegri is a young coach after all, and seems sensible enough to learn from those things, even though looking stubborn some times.

lol, exactly where did he put the blame on allegri??

And how is your relation with Allegri, who often underlines the necessity of growing?

"If I have to improve then Allegri has to recommend how. Champions must always move forward, because the best is expected from them."

Do you expect more dialogue with Allegri?

"Every now and then Allegri will explain something to me, but a coach should always suggest to his players how to correct their defects."

He may have good point here, though I don't know how Allegri works, but the blame is put on Allegri whether it's rightfully so or not. I just would have seen Pato being more critical to himself than just saying Allegri needs to do this, and if Pato is bad, well, doesn't matter I was, because we all were attitude, not the right attitude. You say you were bad and you should have been better. And you also say I need to work harder to become better, like tracking back, and be able to play along with, to create attacks with, more than happens now. If he can't see that himself, then wow... surely Allegri tells him what to do, right? Or not? Ah Idunno...

But in the end Pato said he is not good enough because Allegri doesn't tell him enough why, and not because Pato himself doesn't work hard enough. Which is a shame, because Pato clearly doesn't work hard enough in my opinion.

Lived up to the hype?

He's starting striker for the Brazilian national team, was tied as top goalscorer for Milan last season with Binho and Ibra (I believe, may be wrong) and has proven himself at the highest level in Europe against top clubs like Barca.

Lived up to the hype? Are you expecting him to win the Ballon d'Or or something? Some of you guys drive me crazy. Pato is twice the player Tevez is and will be worth a fortune down the line. Should we have taken the 70m offer from Chelsea a few summers ago? Possibly. Will he be worth 70m again? Could be. He's definitely worth more than the 25-30 being tossed around.

Seriously!?

Pato needs to show more self criticism, thats the only way to get out of his period of stagnation. sad but true, since ancelotti left he didn't improved.

If Arsenal is really offering 28 mil for Pato, you take that in a heartbeat. Let the arsenal doctors deal with his injuries. Use that money to reinforce the MF with some quality.

Pato does have a point to be honest. IMO, It kinda explains how Carlo got the best of Pato.

I dont think someone needs to tell him to stop being so nonchalant when 1on1 with the keeper.......... Its not the only flaw in his annoying performances bit i imagine if hed at least gave it all/concentrate 100% in all of the situations he found himself dangerously facing the goal he wouldn have much better self esteem right now, probably would have a much better 11/12 goal rate.

That's exactly the kind of person that needs to be corrected, nonchalant people.

What Pato says is completely right, if the coach wants you to improve, he has to tell the player what he's doing wrong and how he can improve.

The media seems to want to blow everything up with him at the minute.

All I can say is this, pato has been playing for milan for years, 51 goals in 110 games which speaks for its self, and many of those goals being against the bigger sides. In my opinion, if it came to pato being happy or allegri being happy, allegri can fuck off.

Now i dont mind allegri, but we can all agree he doesnt have a clue in a lot of games. His subs, over use of ibra to the extent of burning him out, communication to players, and tactics have all shown to be wrong every now and then.

Selling pato because he doesnt work hard enough is unfounded, we dont know how hard he works, he himself states he works hard, while allegri tells otherwise. So who knows, I just cant understand all the hate, like sell sell sell, 28 million take it blah blah.

Pato is the future, has many years to improve and scores important goals. fuck any one if they can deny that.

28 Million for Pato? That is quite humiliating..
50M for the potential at least (not guaranteeing if he fulfills it or not).

If Berlusconi considers Pato a star player of this team, Allegri will have to adjust the tactics and help him shine or there`s a realistic chance he won`t get the new contract.. We know that Berlu would sacrifice a coach for a player.

Anyway, I expect Pato to finally hit some form and to regain his starting position once the season continues..

Considering the prices thrown around these days, that would be pretty much a realistic one. Just goes to show how fucked up today`s valuation of players is.
