This is funny. He was absolutely terrible.
We played a wide open Serie B team and Pato gave his worst performance in ages.
I don't know which game you watched, but if you're not able to criticize Pato after this game, then I don't know what to to tell you. His form just seem to become worse, and yet he's been back over two months since the injury.
Pato's every move is excessively criticized.
He did not have a particularly great game throughout. However, he scored a world class goal. He did extremely well to get in front of Radovanovich for Abate's cross, which was only barely saved by the keeper. He did well to win the ball back and setup Urby for a shot on goal. His bicycle should have been his hat trick. Etc.
So, he took three free kicks and didn't score. Pirlo took every free kick in his final two years and fucked every single one up. Ibra has taken every free kick in the past two years, and while he's produced a couple goals and a few great strikes against the post, he misses 90% of his FKs, too.
So, he took two other shots that went wide. All of our players do that, all day long. Boa ring a bell? He did that up until the Lecce game, and restarted two weeks after the Lecce game since.
Again, Pato is way toooooo harshly criticized. He's not in his best form, sure, but he's coming back. He played much better than Ibra in the derby.
Remember when Rooney went dry for 10 games? All the idiots called for his sale. Look at him now.
It's also clear that Pato has limited his movement for fear of his injuries returning. I hope he leaves his injuries behind soon.
