Any good laptop should run ePSXe safely. Maybe I'll finish configuring it tonight but methinks there's a bit of a problem with the Resi 3 rom. No harm in trying.

And, my Gamepad went bad recently..thanks to Resi 4, the ultimate analog stick destroyer. :/ Shaking off those villagers, zealots, militia guys...and my bro warned me.

I can't imagine playing Resi 3 with my keyboard. Fucking Nemesis will sooo **** Jill..

Or even the Lickers.


Anyway..what's the best, glitch-free PS2 emu out there?

I think I'll just leave hardcore gaming on my laptop alone till I get another Gamepad next week. Or maybe I'll try Resi 3 and tell you how it went.


When I realised it'd gone poof was when I just beat U3 and was prepping for the Krauser battle on Pro mode..all of a sudden Leo starts turning 360 degrees and the camera angles get messy.

And the USB port was aigh, so I just knew. To think I was aiming for 5 stars on all the characters in Mercenaries to unlock the madlove Handcannon.

Fuck you Saddler.

Mercenaries mode is certainly very interesting, I always used using Mikhail because I'm a noob, or carlos if i'm feeling cool

Never used nicholai, but i've seen some ppl on youtube doing a playthrough using him, they're hardcore SOB! Must be the master of knifing and speed run in the regular game.

I gave up using emulator on my pc, too much things to do, so complicated, and mostly failed. Fucking annoying.

ps1 should be no trouble.

I can emulate about 85% of games on my phone! (Sony Ericson Xperia Play) as well as N64 games, and all systems older than those 2 (or portable)

jailbreaking an iphone's a lot easier than it used to be.... thanks to redsn0w...

but you know there's always that risk :/

however, being able to play pokemon red/blue etc on your iphone is pretty awesome.

I heard that Apple ( at least where i live) won't even touch your iPhone if it is jailbroken. Resetting back to factory setting before bringing it to care centre won't do.

But then again, I'm not a gadget expert.

I've read mixed things about it....

I did it to my iphone, played gba and gbc on it and stuff (can't handle ps1 or n64 though) - and then when I moved onto my current xperiap play, I reset the iphone back to factory settings... I think it's fine, however, sometimes people have problems resetting, and if you don't want to run the risk of voiding the warranty, or (very minutely possibly bricking it) then don't do it. For me the pros outweighed the cons, I mean they make their products well enough, but then I'm confident with technology and look after it well too, so it's each to his own to decide.

If you have major doubts though - don't do it.

meanwhile in bf3, i FINALLY managed to get a kill with a jet (and leveled it up to get those sacred ir flares) after a total of almost two FUCKING hours flying on jets.

Im 30 minutes into the game right now.Its spectacular especially if you play it like mine on a 23 inch full hd,although the lights sometimes hurt my eyes,so many stuff is happening on the screen lol.

I just love how you can get inside peoples heads and make them kill themselves or each other lol,this is a rather new concept to FPS for me.Story is interesting,will keep updating.

Noo way, man.. I loved Skyrim but it got really repetitive after a while. All it was "go to this cave, kill bandit leader, retrieve item, repeat.." Plus, it was just generally too easy.

If you like more old-school RPGs, then you'll love this game.

Respectfully disagree.You are describing the dungeon quests in Skyrim but skyrim has :

-Main Quest story line;
-Thieves guild story line;
-Dark brotherhood story line;
-Mage guild story line;
-Imperials story line;
-Stormcloaks story line ;
-Daedric quests story line ;
-City quests story line ;

Thats a lot more unique story lines then Kingdoms of Amalur has.Also Kingdoms of Amalur is based on the "You need to beat a shitload of monsters to level up,rather then skill ".

I have nothing against Skyrim, I played like 50+ hours of it, but it just got old and repetitive to me. Plus it was just generally too easy, and i had it on max. difficulty.

Imo, both games are the 2 best RPGs out, until Mass Effect 3 comes out. I just prefer KoA over Skyrim.

Tbh, I think they should make one last game where you can go to all the regions and get all the badges.. No more new pokemon please, I hated 5th generation.
