I don't think he's only, but he's one of the few.

He's a genuine complete forward, and a decisive match winning one.

My point was from sheva's exit (who also could be described in same capacity) we lacked this aspect in our team.

Who could've done what Ibra did for our team?
Names please..

-

I don't like the mentality argument because that's insulting to gattuso, nesta, seedorfs, pirlo, and i don't know... 7 of the 11 starters on last years team who had previously won scudettos or ucls or world cups.

I have lots and lots of respect for all the senatores and all ex-milan players for that matter, but you have to admitt, there was no hunger at all..
It was so uninspired, we didn't have that drive to go for the highest possible, atleast that's how i experienced that period.

I give him credit where due, and he deserves his....but 2010-11 milan is not inter. This wasn't a team of children or relegation jokers who had never played a big match in there life.

And the way milan management bends over to Zlatan, insults me as a fan. Like Milan was nothing before zlatan.

It's not... and it won't be post-zlatan. Milan's a big club. a presitgious club, with legends better than him, and legends will be born after him.

I appreciate everything he's doing now.... i dislike putting him in the same sentence as van basten or sheva (he can sit w/ kaka as far as i'm concerneD), let alone not mentioning boban or desailley or rijkaard or gullit for ex. It makes it seem like Zlatan is the first world class player Milan have ever seen...

Milan is having hard times right now. There's not much money. Now, we have Zlatan, which pretty much is the difference of us being a mediocre team or actually a competitive topclub. It's only normal for G to act the way he is acting. He's just trying to keep Ibra happy by constantly praising him, and it works, so I'm not complaining.

I understand why you are though.:)

To even have this discussion on a MILAN forum is sickening.

Without Ibra this season we wouldn't be top 5. He is the difference between us being number 1 and us being below Udinese in the table right now. Galliani knows this. Hence his comment. In my eyes Ibra is the best damn signing since van Basten*. So well timed. So necessary. So damn cheap! I mean, just look at what it has brought us. One player has essentially brought the titles back to Milan.

*I'm not saying he's a better player than e.g. Sheva or Kaka, but the signing was at least as important, possibly more so.

Lets break this down:

-Galliani has always been a two face cunt and will always be one.For the better part of his career he has been a usefull one.In the past 7 or so years his loosing his touch though and i would not mind us replacing him.

-Ibra is great mecernary that for the money invested in him ,i say we made a great invesment. Its not his fault Galliani is sucking his dick while disrespecting other players at it.Apparently he doesnt know its not polite to talk with your mouth full.

In the future Ibra will be just that guy who hopefully brought us 3 scudetto`s in a row before fucking off to insert what ever rich team next.

too many deluded fans here.

if zlatan was some baddass that wins titles on his own then why are sweden so shit?

people act like zlatan won us the league single handedly and without ibra we would not even be a CL level team. please cut the disrespectful bullshit.

its a team game and without nesta, silva and boss triangle we wouldn't have won the league last season.
our amazing defence in the 2nd half of the season was just as important as any contribution zlatan made.

Milan would make the CL, but they sure as hell won't win the league with out him.

I can accept that, ibra is a reason for our success but not the reason.

Damn, damn. I thought you were reasonable.

Sweden is shit? They qualified for the Euros. And before failing to qualify in 2010 they qualified for five straight tournaments (World Cups and Euros) and mostly performed quite well (they went on from group stages in all but one of these). How is this shit for such a small country? In the last six tournaments they've qualified five times, as many times as England. Ibra took part in all but one of these tournaments.

Your logic is flawed. Ibra's scoring sheet in the NT is better than that of Messi's, even though Argentina is the superior team (i.e. better supporting players). And Argentina hasn't won anything in ages. Is Messi shit? You must think so.

Too many deluded and ungrateful haters who need to search history further and further to find arguments. First he wasn't our best attacker, then he wasn't the best in Serie A, then he wasn't one of the best in the world, now he's not as good as Van Basten was, soon they'll be saying "Well, Maradona was much better", and after that we'll be hearing how Ibra sucks because he didn't invent the wheel.

Which he did actually.

I don't think you're reading things properly. No one says a player can win anything on his own. That would be quite difficult.

I don't think zlatan is shit in fact I consider him to be the best striker on the planet.

messi isn't shit but like ibra he isn't a one man team either.

just saying no one player is the team.

being better then england means nothing to me.

zlatan for sweden is proof of the point I'm trying to make, that ibra lifts a teams game but he aint the game. if he was sweden would have won something by now.
the same with milan, ibra lifts us and helps us win but he isn't the only reason we win.

@ you for thinking I was reasonable.

when have I ever said ibra sucks.......without mentioning pique/maxwell in the same sentence.

my school teacher said the same thing.

so you would agree ibra winning the league title 8 years in a row had as much to do with him playing for the best team in the league, as his own undoubted WC ability.

He has scored or assisted close to 50% av Milans goals in the league alone this season. What is it that make people NOT understand the immense importance of such a player? Simply put, fuck is wrong with you? Is it serious?

Zlatan alone, turned this club around with his arrival. Not only by the way he plays, but how he makes everyone else belive. If you cant understand simple shit as this, you really shouldnt be discussin football on a forum. Really ...

Be grateful that we have him now, at his peak. G made a fucking awesome deal getting him here, and Zlatan deserves all the praise possible for what he has done with the club. And he isnt done yet.

I'm reading that his cold has evolved into a fever and that he's not playing tonight. Hoping that the squad still does well without him.

Latest headline on Sportmediaset was "Ibra stronger than the fever" and that he'll maybe play, I guess we'll have to wait and see. :)

Sky Sport Italia is saying he's starting tonight so I guess that answers that (unless there's another turn of events before kick-off :))

if he's sick, he shouldn't be on the pitch. Last thing we need is him having a dragged out fever. We need him to be in perfect health for the barca and roma game

I'm feeling a bit torn, I want him to get well and be rested when he needs it to keep his form but selfishly I always want to watch him play too.

Always a dilemma. As much as I don't want him playing in this match considering what his health is, I hope Allegri doesn't use him for the entire 90.

This thread is clearly crying for My dick is so big jokes (Chuck Norris is old).
I'll start:

Ibras dick is so big, he could be getting a blowjob in Turin while he is in Milan.
