Hopefully Astori joins and is able to improve, learning from professor Sandro
Sandro Nesta ale!
MILANELLO – The team started work at 15.00 on the central pitch at the Milanello sports centre today after yesterday’s draw against Barcelona.
All players came out for to the central pitch including those who played last night. Abate, Cassano, Nesta, Boateng and Robinho all joined in.
Clarence Seedorf followed a personalized training program.
Abate took a full part in training including the practice match.
Antonio Cassano on the other hand started training with the team before continuing his rehabilitation program in the gym.
Massimiliano Allegri will hold his press conference tomorrow at 14.30 before taking the final training session ahead of the match in Catania on Saturday at 18.00.
Maybe he isn't injured.
He just came back from injury and the game was high tempo, maybe Allegri rested him.
That might be the reason we haven't heard any news yet.
I'm just speculating tho.
That foul from that gif...very smart foul (and even if Barcapress is saying it's criminal, look where he puts his leg, he's avoiding hitting his ankle/leg/knees, it hurts and all and I'm not gonna say it's clean, but it's far from criminal).
Yup. We were pertty impressive with the tactical fouls yesterday, all perfectly performed too.Not just nesta but ambrosini and seedorf as well, so many perfect tactical fouls. The seedorf one sits in my mind, Barca were about to break 3-4 men v. just our backline backpeddling and antonini too far up. Nocerino was nowhere to be seen (as usual), Ambrosini was too far. Clarence took the yellow, but prevented a surefire chance on goal.
And of course, MVB, gattuso do this stuff.
Yup. Barcelona's edge on Milan is that they have lots of smart players all over the pitch who think fast, but their style of game isn't one to kill you with their pace (even if they have 4 maybe 5 players who can easily do it), its to outsmart you this is when a player like Nesta is fundamental in defense, the way he reads the game is still second to none, even if he's 36, Messi only passed him 3 times or so, two were well made tactical fouls. If you want to know why Milan is able to keep barca somewhat under control and others who are faster/fitter can't it's this. Intelligence to know when to foul them to stop breaks. Intelligence which comes with experience.
The Corriere dello Sport is today suggesting that Alessandro Nesta could leave Milan for Juventus in the summer.
The veteran stopper will be out of contract in June and he has reportedly been asked by friend Andrea Pirlo to join him in Turin.
The latter made the same Bosman move last year after his deal at the Stadio Meazza was not renewed.
The 2006 World Cup winner was linked with the Bianconeri earlier this year by Turin daily **********, but now the Rome based publication is running the story too.
Nesta, who celebrated his 36th birthday earlier this month, has been restricted to just 11 Serie A games this term.
The Roman centre-back joined the Diavolo in the summer of 2002 from hometown club Lazio.

that tackle, barca fans already call him nesta pepe
like pepe would do harmless tackle like nesta
if pepe did that, it won't be harmless, at least he would took one of messi balls by using his stud...
who's that above TS, next to SES? and who's the other guy at the right end of the same row?
