But life goes on...and the fact that he's telling these stories to the press about Seedorf and Nesta in order to unsettle our locker-room makes him a rat...a phenomenal player who I loved at Milan, but a rat nonetheless for how he's changed since being at Jube.

Milan didn't fuck up. We won the Scudetto pretty much without Pirlo. We got better players than Pirlo AT THE TIME.

I definitely would prefer Van Bommel 2010/2011 than Pirlo 2010/2011 any day of the week. I don't regret anything.

It's club above players, and don't ever forget that.


...and to be fair, if we still had Pirlo this year, it wouldn't matter - because he would most likely to be injured along with everyone else.

too bad he never did anything worth being appreciated for post 07 other than getting owned left right and centre. Van Bommel A player to model yourself around. Left Munich but played like a captain throughout and never once said he was demotivated even with a douchy coach. true professional. Something that role in front of defense has lacked.

^^^ Exactly. Van Bommel is much much more professional, he always becomes a big part of any team he is in. Pirlo was shadows last three seasons, now all of a sudden he runs 10 Kilometers every game.

PS : Does anyone know who was personally closer to Pirlo in Milan during all those years? I think Rino but I'm not sure.
