the years where he was not great for us (and he was still good) we had a very old and very static team. during that same time he played well for Italy since he had runners around him.

This Milan team finally has runners, Pirlo would excel with Nocerino, Prince, Binho, Abate, etc. That is far more running than he had in Milan for years, and he would be thriving with them as outlets.

How does he not fit our tactics? If we kept Seeodrf and he can fit into our tactics, then so can Pirlo, who is a much better passer and is more movile these days.

He doesnt fit at anchor in Al's scheme but he doesnt have to play there, there is no reason that he cant co-exist with Bommel at anchor and Pirlo at the side

Terrific point my friend, i believe the Milan legend would flourish in the current set-up.

Has anyone really thought about the implications of this? WHAT IF Pirlo's callous actions end up in Milan getting deleted? Is there a Cntrl Z command to recall us? Is there a moral authority in FIGC which will delete the other teams as well?

That injury was so ridiculous, in hindsight. Allegri moved him to LCM, and the team seemed to be in perfect equilibrium. But Bam, there goes him injured and then the insecurity creeps in, Allegri remains unconvinced, and the rest is history.

Won't blame any party involved - just circumstances.

On a serious note. Quite happy he left. Unhappy we have soo many injuries that we cant see Milan perform the way they do with their first team.
