I don't see a reason why we couldn't go after a treble next year if we get the right players.

Any team could go after the treble if they got the right players.

Easier said than done..especially with the club's current financial situation.

OK - what are the right players we can realistically get to make this possible? CL mostly as we can win league right now if we solely concentrate on that.

Will Allegri ever sit Ibra and Thiago Silva in a lower tier game or even give youngsters a chance outside of emergency situations? And I dont mean 5 mins at the end of a game.

IMO the most important area that must be reinforced is our midfield. We practically signed Monty already and that is a good start as long as we don't finish the market with him. Another CM/AM/anchor is also needed. De Jong IMO would be perfect.

The way I see it, Max tends to rely on his best players, but that's what most coaches do. Even Pep and Mou. But unlike Max, they have bigger depth than ours, and in all honesty Fartha's and Real's youngsters are way better than ours so it's only normal that they play them more when their star players are tired and injured. As for the Coppa matches the only mistake Max made was playing TS a lot even though he knew he was slightly injured.

Are the people here blind or something? Max just isnt good enough-period. With Ibra,Van Bommel and Robi-Leonardo would also take the last years scudetto. He is a good coach, but not for a club like Ac Milan...Predictability,lack of incentive and authority are his main features. He doesnt even look like a man who has something special in him...

because we have enough quality to justify this? Maybe if Pato was fit and in some-form and we could go pato-robinho but it's not the case.

MAdrid don't sit ronaldo
Barca don't sit messi

and both have much more quality to justify a rest than us....

How would you know they are better if you don't ever give them a chance. Ibra plays till 90 minuts even if it is 2-0 or 3-0.. Never in a million years will a tello, cuenca, pedro, busquets ever get a chance with us! As for madrid i dont even know why you mentioned them. Which youth player has madrid ever given a chance? Arsenal or United (even though i hate them) are a better example.

I don't think Allegri will be fired, and I don't think he should be fired. We put up with much worse under Ancelotti and he was given several chances and a better squad.

First of all, Galliani must find what is wrong with our medical team; any coach (be it Guardiola, Mourinho, Capello, etc.) will endure a very hard time when half of his team (including starters) is injured for most of the season.

Secondly, we can't expect ANY coach to work wonders with the garbage they're given. Does anyone really think any other coach would do better with this squad? I really don't think so.

Ancelotti brought results in CL for so many years. Allegri has no chance.

Are you for real? I mean really? Carletto had much better squad at his disposal than the one Max has now + lot less injuries. Think twice before you post crap.

Yes - but those two are "machines". Maybe it is because the rest of their teams are so good that they can coast through some games but If we need Ibra against regulation teams then we shouldnt expect to get anywhere because we really need him against better opposition, we dont have an Ozil or Xavi feeding him and then bring on a Kaka or Cesc if that isnt working.

Just because our team isnt as good doesnt mean we have to play our best players like dogs. It is because we are deluded into thinking we can compete on three fronts. Rest them sometimes against bottom teams, dont play them in Coppa if we really want to compete in CL and league.

And we dont know if our youth are good or not because we never see them unless the 2 or three mediocre players ahead of them go down.

This is more a rant on management than Allegri as he has to aim for whatever goals are set. I just dont want fans in here to think the same way.

I don't disagree with you.

I also hate blaming the injuries, cause IMO the injuries are very predictable. This isn't even a milanlab issue as much as a team building issue.

a) we have a lot of older players who cannot handle 2 fixtures a week

b) we have brought in a lot of players with injury concerns. Mexes, Aquilani... Pato, Bonera etc.

and then you have to remember, even if we had fittest squad who was of good age, you'll still have injuries just because it's a physical game and things happen.

The absolute biggest mistake Allegri made this season was playing Thiago Silva 120 minutes against Juventus after 90 minutes over the weekend. That was probably one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen, especially given the fact that Silva was hurt numerous times in the Juve match.

Then, Allegri turns around and starts him against Roma with plans to start him a few days later against Barcelona?

That is pure idiocy and there is no justification for it when you consider it was a fucking Coppa Italia match.

Ultimately, that decision cost us a shot at advancing in the CL and likely the Scudetto as well.

According to Corriere Della Sera, Allegri and Seedorf had a big fight after the game, Seedorf wasn't happy at all with the sub 1/2

Allegri would've said: "Who doesn't believes in the comeback will be subbed" and then the fight started.. 2/2

What Leo made for being finally kicked, is happening now again: Not having the players' support, specially, from the senators...

van Basten is going to be SC Heerenveen's coach next season so he's out of the running if Milan fire Allegri at the end of the season.

Ya Seedorf looked beyond pissed when Allegri took him off. IMO it was for the better, Cassano did 100x better in providing link up play to Ibra

A new coach won't solve the problems we're facing. I actually think it's a big gamble to fire Allegri after the season ends. I hope Berlusconi will give him one more chance, and hopefully a better squad.
