All I'm expecting this summer is montolivo and tevez as first team upgrades. Other than that we will sign squad players.

AC Milan News ‏ @Milanello
Rumors about Nesta to New York Red Bulls are intensifying. Tomorrow's edition of Gazzetta dello Sport also claims that he could join them.
That wouldn't be so bad really. Let him try one last thing in his career at a less intense level. I am 100% for him staying, but if he needs to leave then MLS would be cool.

I would so buy that jersey.

Nesta, Del Piero, and Zambro to Red Bulls.:thumbsup:

EDIT: Damn it do I hate salary caps. With Henry and Marquez, no way they can sign another 2 "old-stars".

It's also Berlus fault that he doesn't want spend money on unknowns.

A team like Milan should be self-sustaining in financial terms. An owner might occasionally need to supplement but shouldn't be relied on always. We sold Kaka to balance the books but Silvio allegedly just bailed us out again. That is a potential transfer fund. The management is doing something wrong. Simple as that. Management of course excludes Silvio since he hasn't been at the realm for all these years. I'm in no way implying he is perfect, lest someone might think that.

people putting UNSUITABLE players like hernanes at CAM when they r technical CMs. And putting prince back at CM when he's clearly better at AM.

Seriously.... this stuff wreaks of stereotyping.

Hernanes is not as good at AM as prince.

and prince is nowhere near the cm general hernanes is.

Is there any reason for why Milan don't tie up future transfers well in advance the way Bayern did, with Shaqiri and Dante?

Bayern doesn't need the CL money to buy the players they actually want. They have an own capital of at least €200m and fucking no debts. Their fixed deposit account is worth €130m approximately. Imagine how much it will further increase if their stadium is fully paid off...

Why can't Milan work like that? :(

I wonder.. how can we have the 7th highest income of top clubs, not spend any significant money by signing players, share a stadium and yet still have debt? any1?

Bayern are well run.

Other than that? Something to do with the Bundesliga or something? In fact, I can't think of any team but Bayern that has done this, this season..

It's just forward planning and knowing what the squad needs, they tend to be fairly stable and plan longer term than most. I mean we don't actually know who's staying with all the expiring contracts so it's harder to pla around I guess.

Ok. Thanks. I guess no club in the world is run as efficiently on such a large scale. In fact, I don't think any other club comes even close. Something we could definitely learn from. Sigh!

1. ridiculous wage bill

2. ridiculous club bill

Essentially, Galliani and co. are way too lavish for their means.....

They are like the guy who was super rich before crashing out but still wants to live that lifestyle.

Truth is, with those players I'd be fine with eithe formation, whichever works better would be an upgrade to wat we have now

Silva - Cassano
Nesta
MvB-Ibra-Boateng
Urby-Yepes-Abate-Robinho

Beast :star:

Ibra as an anchor (nobody dare to pass him) and Nesta as a trequartista (the only player who can orchestrate our attack against Bologna). Robinho would give us another option by his crosses and penetration, while Abate will play like Masch for barca. Seems promising.

Genius.

I've outlined previously that with the Sale of Pato (30M) and Robinho (20M), not to mention the sale of Mesbah (peanuts and crackers) alon
g with the release of Zambrotta, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Inzaghi, Flamini & Yepes, we can mount an assault in the Market, with just 25M in addition to our sales for Pato/Robinho.

Acerbi (3M): Young
Tevez (25M): If he still wants to come...
M'Vila (15M): CDM for the Future
Hernanes (20M): HE wants out...
Asamoah (15M): Box-Box
Montolivo (Free)
Total:

Release Aquilani, Lopez. Urby LB. Abate & Antonini as Backups.

-------Tevez-----Ibrahimovic-------
-----------Hernanes---------------
----Asamoah-------Boateng--------
--------------M'Vila------------------
Emanuelson---------------Abate
---------T.Silva---Nesta-------------
--------------Abbiati-----------------

Subs: Montolivo, Gattuso, Van Bommel, Antonini, Bonera, Acerbi, Mexes, Nocerino, Merkel, Strasser, Cassano, El Shaaraway, Amelia, Roma

For those who want Ogbonna, I wouldn't mind selling Bonera and use funds for Ogbonna, and I wouldn't pay over 8-10M. He's a Serie B player.

:star::star::star::thumbsup:

This team is very attainable and would be competitive on all fronts.

Oh wait we still have B&G in charge so you can cross that:fp:

If we're lucky we'll get Tevez not expecting big things because B&G are cheap

According to GDS Nesta could leave Milan this summer for New York Red Bulls. Apparently they should open negotiations next week.

The most likely possible destinations for Pep

I watch last night again 2nd half of game vs genoa and....it is a greater joy to watch nesta's tackle than messi or cristiano dribling

twitter
RUMOR: Kucka (Genoa) Could be joining Milan the next season. Highly doubt it, as he's also co-owned with Inter.
OGBONNA: "Milan? If the offer arrives, then we could talk., I'd be really happy if that happened"

did you ever heard about Llorente 2 years ago? normally yes
did you ever heard something about Muniain 2 years ago? normally no

It's not the first good season of Llorente

Yes but like you said its been 2 years since Muniain has been making waves in the football world.Do agree on Llorente though.
