If signed, it should be for squad rotation. Not good enough if we are serious about getting back on top.

Definitely not first 11 material.

Please don't make the mistake to give this guy a contract, he is a negative influence on others, very lazy, very moody, we already have enough of these junk players, time for some real hungry winners.

He has a negative attitude, that influences the performances of other players. He is always fussing and arguing with the ref, he hardly ever sprints, and I remember when he first joined he refused to pass the ball to antonini ever... so his aura is negative for the overall team play, i.e. he doesnt bring out the best of his team mates, and for me that is a NO even if you are very good technically.

Not really, but I wouldnt kick the ball cross field to no one either.. at least Antonini knows how to play a useless one-two :)

Yes. He would be a good Defensive box-box sub and squat rotation player. Nothing else.

it's just his style. the lazy thing i mean.

kinda like someone else who used to play for us up until recently. :D

muntari is a very complete midfielder. he can pass, tackle, dribble and shoot. can play as a playmaker, B2B player, ball-winner and even as an anchor.

a great choice for a backup midfielder.

But if he is back up he will probably moan and not give his best when he is given time on the pitch..

There's nothing wrong with his attitude. Arguing with the refree is normal, players react in different ways in the heat of the game and he doesn't even argue that much. He also sprints a lot, last match he was reaching the box more than Nocerino. Hardly got caught off position in counters. He is a low tempo player... It's style of play, not attitude.

Now seriously, sometimes you sound like a religious fanatic talking about football.
Aura... C'mon.

he's not lazy, he wanted to settle in well with the tactics of the entire team, at sudden times the entire team seemd lazy

@ jivara, everybody refuses from time to time to pass the ball to antonini, i think it's because of antonini's natural aura

i just wonder in which kind of player allegri will develop him, b2b? vacuumcleaner? playmaker?

whatever bro, i know Muntari can be a good player, he is very skilled, and posessed good characteristics, but aside from not bringing out the best in himself, he seems like he does not want to do so.

If we want to begin a new successful era, then players like Muntari need to make as less appearances as possible. He scores a couple of goals and people get carried away. He is not Milan material.

our best midfielder since January... just saying.

Injured Aquilani and Boateng, and loss of form of Nocerino contributed to it, but damn you are probably right. Doesn't change the fact he is not good enough to be a regular though. Would be very foolish to keep him, and not Aquilani.

averaging 4.3 tackles, 2.1 clearences and 2 interceptions a game, maybe he can be considered for anchor?

but his passing completion rate is only 80%

I think the squad have enough combative/box 2 box/ utility mieldfied in nocerino, muntari, and flamini. What missing is a strong creative defensive miedfield like van bommel or alonso which alegri tactic use last season.

So I'm guessing Muntari's staying, am I correct?

Are there any dates published, because there happens so much with Flamini, Ambrosini, Mesbah, Paloschi and so on, but you hear nothing about Muntari :eek:

This guy is a freind of Allegri so he stays. Good back up IMO, but he should not start too often. He must be lower in pecking order that both Nocerino and Flamini.

I said before that I'm not opposed to him staying as a back up, but thinking about it now, i don't want him to stay at all.

his wage will be something like 2.5 million, hell no.

and Galliani/Allegri will probably see him as a starter :fp:
