Gazzetta reports that he was fighting for the ball with Boateng when he got injured. Should be back after the Internatinal break.

not that i was or am against his sale... but selling him would probably not meant that we didn't have to sell ts and ibra. their wages was our main problem, ibra had a moster salary, and ts was gonna ask for more. + the bid for the players was to much to refuse for a club in financial difficulties.

You don't know this. If we would have replaced Pato with Tevez in January we definitely would have won the Scudetto. There's also a chance we could have gone further in CL. The financial situation could have looked completely different.

Had we beaten Barca (it was close, and with Tevez taking off some league pressure...) and won the CL (we had a better team than Chelsea) we'd earned an extra 60 million euros.

Another reason could probably be that they wanted to get rid of Ibra, and that PSG only would buy him if TS was included. This combined with the TS situation (high bid + higher salary demands) made it impossible for them to refuse given our economical situation. But I personally doubt this was the case.

TS was quite clear about this in an interview recently. Him and Zlatan made a deal. "Either both stay at Milan, or both go to PSG."

TS didn't want to stay if they sold Ibra, and vice versa. Quite understandable. A football career is short, and these guys want to win trophies. For the players, I think money had very little to do with it.

They were the last minutes of exercise, Pato was trying to win the ball, Boateng defended. The Brazilian did not go well in contrast, the cleats were stuck to the grass. When Pato went down there was a moment of silence, he is raised and has begun to correre.Dall 'entourage Pato yesterday leaked a certain tranquility, given that this incident does not affect the same muscle last volta.L 'unique adductor injury was recorded two years ago, but on the thigh.

Dont ever become a parent. I could totally see you being a football coach, your son goes down, with a broken leg, and you say something like: "Are you pussy? Stand up! Only losers whine!"

It's a different muscle it seems, I don't think it will be an issue. The last injury involved a different muscle and that was the one that kept getting an injury.

All this aside I do agree that he is earning too much, in my eyes it was all too fast too quick...

He will be fine I am sure.

Pato probably doesn't have the body required to be a professional footballer. It'll be sad if he never really reach his peak due to these constant injuries.

Saying that he's a pussy is ridiculous though, him getting injured and skipping games does not have anything to do with him being mentally weak.

Yes, because being able to stand in a corner and shoot and limit your movement and sub in and sub out and have Paul P and Rondo and KG shoulder the load is the same as being on a football pitch

Yeah, I don't know, that's why I said "probably" but it's highly likely though...

and btw, playing aquilani would probably have won us the scudetto.

If money had "very little" to do with it, they both would have played here for 5 mil a year.

God damn it... Whenever I think about Pato these days I just get sad. To see a player of such high potential get ruined by injuries, just not fair.
And it only seems to happen around Milanello/San Siro anyway. Whenever he's gone playing with Brazil he never gets injured, what's up with that?

Oh well...

LET'S GOOOOOO PAZZO!!

@Milanello:

Pato will undergo further exams in the next weeks to determine the extent of his thigh injury.

There's no exact time frame yet.
