I've always been skeptical towards Nocerino because of the lack of impact he has on the games, he just drifts around and does nothing. Now without Cassano/Ibra he's getting exposed for what kind of player he really is.

Completely invisible except for when he conceded the penalty. He shouldn't be in the starting XI. Emanuelson/Constant/Flamini > Nocerino.

Some players last year took awhile to get used to playing Ibrah style, Nocerino took no time at all. But now it is the opposite, he must learn the new style. 11 goals ain't nothing to scoff at. Maybe he should be used as an Impact sub for now, still remember his two almost goals vs England at the euro's when he came on, dangerous.

I tend to agree with those who tell he's not that good without Zlatan. I think his game gets a lot worse when both our forwards don't get naturally involved in build up and do it properly.

I don't know if I'm being too harsh on him, but his biggest quality seem to depend heavily on the space left by our last season forwards when they dropped back + how they were helpful in build up and providing the last ball, especially Zlatan. Also, that good influence they had in build up also made me feel we could afford to have Nocerino on the lineup.

He still got this big quality, which are those forward runs. Today, he even got some service for that in the second half, but my question is: Can we still afford to handle his flaws during entire matches for the sake of his good runs forward? Today, I feel a more capable player in build-up OR in defence would do us better than that Nocerino quality.

Honestly he wasn't all that bad.. Not in the second half at least. When Monty got subbed off and De Jong was brought in I felt like Noce was getting forward a lot more and closer to the box (which is obviously when he's at his best) since Ambro and De Jong was mainly staying back on the defense.

Nocerino is a very likable guy, but he sure as hell shouldn't be starting in Milan at the moment.

Allegri really hates Urby. He's a very versatile player. He's not trying him at LB, he's not trying him at midfield. He's better than Noce. He was great last season when he played. Allegri should have more trust in him.

Yea, he really hates Urby, playing him 35+ games last season. I didn't even see him on the bench, which may mean he wasn't feeling the game, so he was left out. Fitness was probably an issue, as Noce's stamina is ridiculous.

Allegri is...........uhh, surprising at times. Last season he fielded urby even when he was completely off form.

So far in pre season he was one of the better players..........and now hes benched. For a nocerino whos game right now isnt worth 50cents let alone 500k.
