Allegri is...........uhh, surprising at times. Last season he fielded urby even when he was completely off form.

So far in pre season he was one of the better players..........and now hes benched. For a nocerino whos game right now isnt worth 50cents let alone 500k.

urby is receiving the pato 10/11 treatment. he will be unleashed in the second half after watching the squad gel and come in to boost the team to great heights come 2013

but nocerino having an off game doesn't suddenly mean he is worth 50 cents. he will use his reserve oomph he borrowed from zlatan and be the mr.x once more

Allegri really hates Urby. He's a very versatile player. He's not trying him at LB, he's not trying him at midfield. He's better than Noce. He was great last season when he played. Allegri should have more trust in him.

Allegri hates Urby? You could say Allegri hates Didac Vila because he got only one game with us but you say Urby, the same guy that Allegri kept using to no end last year (our first sub no matter what was the score at all). Let's be clear, Urby is a refresher in our midfield; however, he is similar as Nocerino as that he is good/average while attacking but his defensive skills are almost non-existent.

Yea, he really hates Urby, playing him 35+ games last season. I didn't even see him on the bench, which may mean he wasn't feeling the game, so he was left out. Fitness was probably an issue, as Noce's stamina is ridiculous.

I don't see it like that at all. All has a first choice and then a second choice players for each position. Urby is a replacement for a starting line up place taken by Prince. If Prince can't play then Urby will. He can't be fieled along Prince but as RCM as there is no Cassano anymore and Ibra playing with the ball for long spells - so there really only is Prince/Urby combo for a starting ACM without help from rotating attackers. Monty has been terrible while playing behind the strikers every single time he did in his career, so if Prince plays then Urby has to be benched. I think he should have been fielded instead of De Jong to sub Monty yesterday to be honest but Al played it his usual safe.

Ive said this all year last year...contributes nothing defensively or attack...worst of all, we sacrificed Aquilani to play deeper and have more defensive duties in order for Nocerino to roam around...
