Fuck no. This is not La liga when you coach Real or Barca opponents don't just bend over. Here in Italy you have to know tactics and don't just tell Xavi, Iniesta and Messi go out there and play your game. Hell even mediocre Rijkaard ripped apart La liga and CL with all those superstars. Here you have Konstant, Urby, Nocerino and Muntari so no joga bonita for you. We saw what Pep did vs Mou/Inter and Di Mattero/Chelsea. It's about tactics and defense something that spaniards never heard of.

hope we get him!! i think berlu would open his wallets as he is a proven coach not like allegri.... i am disapointed that leo had such a shit time for when he was in charge then allergri got zlatan robinho mvb etc. but lets hope the deal is already done. he could do wonders. just hope pep likes bojan :)

Another point of conjecture is if Pep comes in Berlu will surely be spending some big bucks.More then anything it's what Milan needs right now, a big name coach (irrespective of his coaching abilities away from Spain) the casual fan who still spends money to come to games are going to look at AC Milan again that's the spot light Berlu loves.and again, I really think Berlu will have to spend maybe up to and around €60-70M (3-4 players).

This is justtttt

eternal :fp:

Mourinho/Guardiola 2 best tacticians in football ATM

Then the guy from Biblao (bieslia???) however you spell it, very tactically sound

Atletico Madrid won Europa league

Defence though I do agree they have never heard of it, apart from Madrid under Mourinho

what i admire form barca and pep's strategy is how incredible good their movement off the ball. Fluidity of their plays is near perfect.

and if you guys saw his barca plays, its like they can split opponents defence just with movement of their players. and when the defender is cracked up, that's the time when xavi/inesta delivered magic pass to kill the game.

Yeah, that's exactly what he does...

Is he okay? Healthwise? I saw some pics and he kinda looked like a cancer patient. Maybe being a coach is too stressful for him

Titos performances are showing how great pep is tactically

They're doing great results wise. 9 out of 10 league games won, still unbeaten and top of the table. 3 out of 4 CL games won. The El Clasicos have looked pretty similar to last season's.

The defense looks worse, but that could be blamed on injuries(Pique, Puyol, Alves etc)

I've watched hardly any Barca game this season though, so the results might be misleading. But still, I get the feeling you want to believe Pep is a genius and Tito and co are so inferior.

The way Madrid opened them up in the first 30 mins of the Bernabeu clasico just never happened under Pep.

Madrid always start out great against Barca. This time a bit more than usual, but they were also more effective than usual. Barca missed Alves, their by far most important "defender"(not necessarily for his defensive workrate), so they replaced him with Adriano, who had a disaster of game.

Their 2nd half was very impressive, with one man down.

You might be right about the rest(I haven't watched any non-big Barca game). Still, it's too early to say if Tito is worse than Pep. They haven't played enough big games yet.

Anyway, one thing Tito seem to have improved is away game results. Last season's Barca were awful in away league games, while this one has won all 5 of them.

God I hope we sign him.. Berlusconi won't open up his pockets to anyone else IMO.

Milan is the perfect club and project for Pep. And he's smart enough not to go to a team with top players i.e. Man U, City, Chelsea etc.. where's that challenge?

AC Milan are stepping up their pursuit of former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.

The Daily Mail says San Siro officials have made discreet overtures to the former Barcelona manager with regards to becoming their next boss.

Current incumbent Massimiliano Allegri is under increasing pressure after a sorry start to their Serie A season and a far from convincing opening to the club’s Champions League campaign.

And Guardiola is the overwhelming choice to replace Allegri amongst numerous Milan officials, with many wanting him in place as early as January.

Guardiola, who is midway through a 12 month sabbatical, has always maintained he will not return to football until next season.

And the Spaniard’s advisers have reinforced that view to the Rossoneri, insisting the 41-year-old will not consider any approach at the moment.

But the Italian club are keen to move quickly as they look to steal a march on Chelsea and Manchester City, who are both taking a keen interest in Guardiola.

rumour among some Italian journalists has it that Pep has agreed to take over Milan from next season, which would explain why SB has been so supportive and patient with Allegri, so far.

Pep is in line for Chelsea job , contact has been made apparently .I never thought he'd go to Milan , even though he hasn't signed for Chelsea it's still 99% likely he doesn't go to Milan.

Hopefully what they done to RdM has put him off. And when I look at Chelseas squad and then the style of play Roman wants, it still doesnt match up IMO. He wants play like Barca but yet the squad is still more suited for hit on the break/counter attackin style

3 #10 's
No midfield playmaker
No back up CF's
No experience
No leaders if JT or Lumps goes down

And he gave the job to a manager who is cautious to change that and play some free flowin football.
