i was a noce hater before, just like i hated robinho, but last 3 games he has been terrific as rightly pointed out by the posters above, particularly against jubentus, where imho he played the game of his life. Nocerino is a good squad player to have, if he can improve his tackling ability like gattuso then he could possibly start every game. But i haven't witnessed much of that yet, we will see how he does in the next bunch of games.

I still hate Robinho. Just due to his poor finishing. He can create so many good opportunities for himself or others. He could easily finish a season with 20 goals or so. Yet I've never seen someone miss so many open goals, 1 v 1 chances.

You know who else did the same thing? Gattuso

I idolise the man, but he didn't have much going for him besides pure aggression, stamina, and willingness to fight. Maybe some good dribbling and a goal on a better day. You need that type of player. You need someone who is going to fight and rile people up if need be it.

Good point!, but gattuso tackled his ass off.

He was always a fighter, but he got more aggressive as he got older. Nocerino will probably do the same, as he aspires to emulate Rino. If he had the form he had last season, people would be singing his praises. If Juve hadn't won the scudetto, Nocerino also would've been starting ahead of Marchisio for Italy like he should've been after Claudio's woeful Euro performances.

i dont what people think about nocerino vs marchisio but i feel marchisio is more technically gifted although nocerino is stronger and a better combative player. Since italy already have 2 creative hubs in peerlo and montolivo/de rossi depending on whoever is starting, nocerino would be ideal to complete that midfield trio. But if he improves his tackling ability like i said earlier, he would become a beast midfielder. In all seriousness, who would people in this forum choose between nocerino and marchisio? No offense to nocerino, i would take marchisio atm because we lack creativity.

Marchisio's not enough of a fighter for me. We have creativity in Robinho and Montolivo (albeit, neither have been showing it in vast amounts). I like having a fighter in the midfield who will rally the troops, so to speak. I honestly couldn't see Marchisio doing that. He seems like he'd be a pushover if the pressure was high.

Marchisio is superior in almost every possible way and is better leader material. Runs more, works harder, more skilled, better passer, better defensively, better ball-winner, better goalscorer, more intelligent, wins more aerial battles etc.

Marchisio's overrated by Italians and he tends to go missing sometimes, but there's no doubt he's superior to Noce. They're not even in the same league.

 I think you're overrating Marchisio, rather than us Italians. He is good, no doubt, but he is not as much as a fighter or hard worker as Nocerino. He happens to be more forward thinking and creative. Nocerino will always be under appreciated, much like Ambro and Rino were by most non-Italians/Milanisti.

I prefer noce over marchisio purely because I'm biased but us non Italians really do appreciate ambrosini and gattuso

Cmon. I'd hate to see ambrosini at another club. Gattuso was doing it all too

Plus they tend to score decent goals as well.

But they fought for the shirt. That's why we love them

Haha lol. Don't compare nocerino with marchisio. It ashamed. Nocerino only is amatuer player if we compare him with marchisio. Marchisio has potential to be world class. Nocerino haha, fodder. He only run, run and rum. Galliani should buy usain bolt instead nocerino.

belloefamoso lol, thats a bit harsh bro. I admit i prefer marchisio over noce as well but noce has been surprisingly good in the last few games especially against jube. If he performs like that in big games, i will start to like him even more.

Here's a list of Milan midfielders I would trade for Marchisio - Flamini, Traore.

LOL, you need to stop comparing Noce with Rino or trying to make it look like he has Rino's characteristics. Rino was one of the best DMs in the world, a true fighter and a leader.

Noce has almost nothing in common with him in terms of characteristics on the pitch. Being southern Italian, lacking technical skills and having a beard does not make him the new Rino. Unless you really thought low of Rino.

In what way is Marchisio not as much of a fighter? He runs more, works harder and is better defensively and offensively. Noce is not as cultivated and is slightly, but only slightly, more hotheaded than Marchisio. Is this why you think he's more of a fighter and why he has fooled you into thinking he works harder? Or is it because you don't see him passing like Pirlo or Montolivo, so you assume he must be a great DM?

nocerino tackles no one.

Rino was probably best tackler in world for a decade. And did so w/o getting carded

Marchisio is better than Nocerino for sure, anyone who argues are either being stubborn or biased. However, its not like Marchisio is leagues better

Out for a walk.
Complete phase in focus from Antonio, but similar lack of focus came from some of our other guys. So, in before the trolls curb-stomping Noce's face in for a mistake. Besides, he's been fantastic, barring that error.
