Yes, we were. And we will be in next year. He was linked with us and Liverpool, but something changed - probably Hellas said that they want to sell him only after a season in Serie A, not before.
However there were also rumours that we have an agreement with Hellas to buy him in next year, but I don't trust them.

16:30 - 18:00: De Graafschap - Young PSV (in the Dutch 2nd division, will miss the end of the match, but Milan goes first

18:00 - 19:45: Verona - AC Milan
19:45 - 21:30: Heracles - PSV
Looking forward to it already, the more football, the merrier!
As for the Milan match: let's hope we're not too focused on the PSV match already and forget to deal with Verona because of it. Got enough experienced players who should be able to cope with this obviously, so I'll go for a 1-3 win with a good start from Balotelli (2 goals) and SES because he's awesome (1 goal).

Massimiliano Allegri spoke to the press this afternoon ahead of tomorrow evening's match against Verona at 18.00.
Here’s what Massimiliano Allegri had to say in today’s press conference ahead of tomorrow evening’s match against Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi stadium.
"Stephan is doing much better at the moment, the two goals scored in Germany, the good performance in America and the midweek goal have been good for him psychologically. He’s the same player he was last season. At 20 years of age, it’s not easy to find yourself under the media spotlight as he did last season. He hasn’t been up to his own high standards in the last two months but that just shows that in football, every day is a new test, especially in a team like Milan which always plays to win.”
“We’ve been working together for a year now and the players know each other better. We showed that in our first European game. The players have grown and we need togrow more. I’m sorry not to have Pazzini available even though Petagna is coming along well. He’s very you and we can’t load him down with responsibility. He’ll show what can do when we call upon him. Tuesday’s game was good for us as we needed to get our mentality right to face a team that already had five matches behind them. We did well and we’ll have to do well against tomorrow. They have Toni up front who scores a lot of goals. They concede very little and we’ll need focus and personality like we showed after the first twenty minutes against Eindhoven.”
On racism and Balotelli:
“Racism is not just Balotelli, it’s a cultural problem that still exists in Italy. Mario’s fine and like the others, he focused on his game. I hope the day won’t be spoiled. On the injury situation:
“Abate will probably start tomorrow as De Sciglio hasn’t played for two months. Montolivo is fine and can play all positions in our midfield. Nocerino had a good pre-season as did Muntari. It’s unfortunate that we’re without Pazzini, Bonera and Vergara.”
On Balotelli:
“I hope he’ll score 30 goals but it’s better if the goals come from all the forwards. He can turn into one of the best players in the world but like all young player he still has to improve in certain aspects. He’s young to be captain but he has the quality to become one.”
On the season to come:
“We’re the same team as last season. We got Poli but we lost Pazzini and Saponara is not available. Juventus are favorites and Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Napoli and Inter are the teams we’re up against for the top three spots. We have the quality to improve on last season and we have to start better than we did.”
On the transfer market:
“That’s up to the club and they know what they’re doing. Petagna is a young player but he can give us a hand. We hope to have Pazzini back for the end of October. He’s important for us.”
