leave milan to a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 and we shall become a real team again. Well, unless constant and zapata play, then we are fucked.

I have to agree with Zapata ... I have a feeling that when we circulate the ball, most teams wait for when he has the ball and try to trap him... and that's bad for the type of game that we play.
Constant on the other hand, I've seen him improve quite a bit in the last 2-3 games... it's true that Barcelona played the ball mostly on the right side, but that was the area that Messi played most of the time, plus Dani Alves was also pushing on that side. Constant did miss one case where Sanchez got away from him, but I don't remember any other issues with his play considering all the pressure on the right side.

Also this season ... in terms of aerial coverage from the fullbacks, Constant is the one that has impressed me the most ... it has been no contest compared to Abate and Emanuelson in terms of header clearances. That said, he's still behind his peak of last year... and the same can be said for Zapata.

I find it hard to believe in Silvio here cause there was no radical change against Barcelona. The team was already moving slowly to a 433 (and still is) just like Tassoti said after the game.

We switched to a very basic 442/4312 after PSV game and gradually added more variations. It's a process.
And we didn't use 4312 for a while. It was some sort of xmass tree that would defend in 442.

Birsa was in fact a rightwinger already against Udinese.

No need to worry. Galliani just will meet twice with Genoa in December and all problems will be solved.

Thanks for what? He built one lucky/fluky Scudetto squad and has otherwise run the club into the ground since taking over as President of Football Operations.

He is as incompetent as they come. Under his leadership, Milan has been surpassed by Napoli, Roma, and Inter. AND Milan, once the most feared club in European competition, is literally the butt of every imaginable joke throughout Europe.

i sort of understood the decision to not sack allegri because it will cost them money to buy him out of his contract but surely anyone who studied maths at school will understand it will cost much more to loose CL football next season.

i don't understand, why haven't they taken action? whats wrong with them there is absolutely no way this situation would happen at another top club in the world.

The problem is it will cost money to get rid of Allegri and who are they going to hire. Although I have to question some of Allegri's decision this season we have a poor team. The future is bleak for Milan unless some money is invested in decent players.

See, here's where I have a problem. Milan spend A LOT of money every year, which is almost on par with the other top clubs. Milan pays more than average on wages, more than average on other expenditures, and is pretty much on par with other clubs in the 4-9 range on revenue. The problem is simply that the money is allocated SO poorly that all hell breaks loose.

There is ZERO reason why Milan can't have a lean 26 man squad with extra bodies from primavera in a pinch. We have redundant players on bad contracts. Take Traore' for instance, who is a fair microcosm of everything wrong with Milan. Management claimed that they were taking a risk on him and weren't sure what they were getting. Okay, that's reasonable, big risk big reward, but his wages were increased 600% on his transfer here. Take a risk on him, but don't make him impossible to move. Hell, get creative with that contract and front load it in the event he blows and needs to be moved.

With competent management, scouts, and coaches, this club can be great on a lean budget. It's easy to claim that we can spend our way out of this issue, but spending money just to spend money is stupid. Give me Porto's management, Napoli's management, Spurs' management, etc. with Milan's budget and you're looking at a scary team.

i ve mentioned that 1000000 times but people tend to forget .some good words or a flashy transfer and its all gone as he is the best CEO of every ccorporation on this world.when actually :g: is at least last 10 years a poor CEO.he is a good negotiator but not the god he tends to present himself.....first 10-15 years he had vast amounts of money t back up his plans and later on he just go for already wanna go out situation of players....
if we must sack someont to begin something good at milan the first one should be :g: then BERLU and after them coach or anyone else.......sell now and remove power from galliani's hands

Milan's budget? hahahah Milan doesn't have a budget. It's real, we have to face facts. A team with a working budget doesn't sell the best defender in the world and worse still, NOT invest the money in buying quality players. Instead we go for Silvestre et co.

I've been here for 2.5 years and have spent 2.5 years bashing Galliani. I've never once been fooled by his shtick, and it takes a lot to pull the wool over my eyes.

Come on dude, you're better than this. A better claim is that a team with a working budget doesn't buy things it can't afford, i.e. Zlatan, that cost the best asset to move the things it can't afford. The cost to move Zlatan was Thiago Silva. I wish it were different, but that's life with Yogi and Boo Boo at the helm. That's not woe is me we're broke, that's holy shit we have idiots running the show.

Also, as for selling a good player, or selling players to balance the books. Even the best companies occasionally have layoffs and asset sales. Granted there are some companies that get by without layoffs in down times, but they're rare.

Galliani's blaming the referee for the loss: "I won't go on about those two obvious penalties, but I think we deserve an apology and an explanation from the referee before we can close this chapter.

I'm starting to get really annoyed with these ridiculous, living-in-denial, excuses. Why are there no protests from fans in Italy? Do they buy this crap? The worst thing that can happen to a club is when it's fans stop caring. Burn some seats or newspapers at San Siro at the very least.

you mean like a more then half empty stadium every single game?

zio incompetent blaming refs is good since it clearly works. worked when jube cried and robbed that derby and it worked not with those entitled viola losers crying about missing the CL and ''rigore per il milan''......

fester has to say something otherwise milan wont get a single decision in favor. just look at how the penalties (the ones that actually are) stopped getting called after della valle and montella wept

I think Balotelli was treated unfairly by the ref as well, there was definite contact , a push from behind but he never gets those free kicks.
Not sure why everybody sees Balotelli's fault.

i feel like milan will be sold soon. i just have that feeling. Also, I would like them to make a cheeky 80s movie about milan;refer to Major League and the Cleveland Indians - which is my home town.
