I'm just say this out loud, cuz none of the Juve fans in this forum will say it.
Marotta "not believing" our offer is their way of saving face if/when they lose to our bid. They won't go any higher (and I dont blame them) so they say to their fans - or the papers - "we dont believe this bid exists".
They cover their asses this way:
1) If we didnt make the bid and they get him, they look like geniuses
2) If we did and they miss out, they can claim "well fuck, what were the odds Milan actually bid that based on their recent history"... and their fans will be like "ya, I guess you're right, cuz we didnt believe it either"
Why am I saying this?
Cuz of WE were in Juve's situation, and calling their bluff, you'd all be saying "we're so fucking broke!!!! we cant afford to go higher!!!! this is our way of dropping out of the race!!!"
and you fucking know it's true.

pastore was bought for 40 mil, psg would not let him go for less than 30 mil and current pastore is not worth anywhere close to that amount. I would take lavezzi providing we invest in another young talent like ljaijic. ljajic for 12 mil and lavezzi for 15.

What I'm trying to say is don't treat everything like gospel and most certainly don't act like you know he was coming between wednesday and friday for sure and being cocky about it.
Most of this is all PR bullshit the real dealing is done behind doors, nobody reveals offers made. At best we may know what Verona expect in a region but offers and the guff that goes with it is bs until the deal is done and official.
