Unless Cristante suddenly turns world class, no we are not. Poli's passing skills are average, so are his tackling skills. Then there's DJ who can defend rather well, but again is not the guy you want keeping your possession for you or doing the pass that starts an attack.

Keeping all that in mind, i think any top 4 midfield from any top league atm would walk all over us and we would be forced to rely on counter attacks.

This is great news. We all know that 4-3-1-2 does not work in modern football.

I just hope they involve all primavera teams in this. It was pretty pathetic last season when Primavera played 4-3-3 and A-team 4-2-3-1. This is a good way to make it difficult for youngsters to take the step.

The one thing I want/expect from Inzaghi is to teach the squad to play like a team.
I want the players to place the team's needs before their own and to see them work as hard as they can for as long as their body allows them to, that's one of the rarest but most efficient qualities, it helps you win games and it makes your opponents fear and respect you
