23 plus 3, 26 is also too much, actually. I just had a quick look. Chelsea has 24, Manchester City has 25 and Real Madrid has 22 players in their squad. And those are teams that will be participating in 3 or 4 competitions and have no trouble with spending money. Somehow, we need 26-28 for 2 competitions. When we have trouble finding money to spend and play less games, we just go ahead and stock up on so many players. Ah well..

Honda is slow so lots of people seem to think he should be benched, but he has a quick mind, reminds a lot of Rui Costa who also was not that quick. Like you say Honda will be given a good stretch to prove himself. Torres ( especially ) and Bonaventura won't have to wait too long.

I was referring to with the ball at his feet and how must other people see Honda. Becuase he doesn't often take players on and beat them with speed.

I am no expert but I watched Honda when he was at Nagoya Grampus, a little bit in Holland and a bit in Russia....and each time he torches Australia.

So I know some of Honda's strength's and weaknesses.
