Easy there Sam - lets progress first.
We dominated Atalanta, Juve and Lazio - In CL we were mice against every team other than Atletico who just dont play.
Oh, except the Spanish Champions? Just except them? Because when people say "LiVeRpOoL rEseRvEs" as if we played our full strength team, we weren't even physically able to in most (if not all) of our CL games, does that maybe, possibly, perchance, perhaps, factor into our performances? Krunic as our LW? Krunic? Krunic? It's annoying.

Just a few questions: Do you think Porto's goals should have stood? Did previous iterations of Milan's great teams have bad games, but win ugly? If so, would suffering through Porto games, had their goals been disallowed, but still winning ugly 1-0 or getting an away 0-0, would that not have been a sign of progress?

I just find it hilarious that if I talk about how Milan should have had x or y result, I'm the one who is crazy, but then I have to listen people talk about other teams who shoulda, coulda, woulda, and then you want to pretend you (not you Smurf) are sensible? Please.

No one is forcing him to take on 3 players at a time. He can still pass the ball. He is getting his 1v1 chances too. He is just bad at being patient and picking his moments. Ofc having better team around you helps to choose a pass over dribble. But it goes both ways - a better teammate is a one who makes good decisions and does not waste possession as easily as Leao.
I don't wanna come off as Rafa hater. I love this guy. Don't remember when Milan had so aesthetically pleasing player. But his bad decisions are reflection of his quality, not of his teammates.

Sent from my HD1903 using Tapatalk

Nah his teammates are Brahim fucking Diaz and a guy who makes salad. Ofc he doesn’t have any other choice than dribbling.

You say we are building this great CL team. That remains to be seen.

Lets see how summer goes and lets see how we look at this time next year.

Fernandinho for a year and hope no one goes for Renato Sanches. Then pick him up for free the following summer 🤣

For people shitting on our CL performances. I'm very excited to see what Pioli can do in Europe. Because, unlike what you lot seem to realize, we are built for that competition. In Italy, we struggle against the teams that respect us and sit back. Is that going to happen in Europe? No. Leao and Theo will do the business. And we can match the energy and pace of those teams too. Against big teams in the league and against the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool, we've done well. We would've done much better without so many injuries and bad luck. And that was in an incredibly tough group, in our maiden campaign. Only encouraged by what I saw.

Another thing to note is our defence. A strong defence is rare in Europe. Kinda why you always see an ugly team getting to the final. The likes of Chelsea, relying on their strong defence and then having enough to get one goal.

I think I've been pretty clear of what my horizon and time-frame is, in 3 years, we should be challenging for the CL, seriously.

The simple fact of the matter is we are one bad penalty call (that was widely seen as incorrect--leading to the suspension of that ref team) away from advancing from the toughest group.

I wish you would answer my questions, though.

Why do I need to answer your questions - In your mind we were robbed.
What I saw was us woefully outplayed most of the minutes and unable to overcome any of the obstacles but that is in the past.

Lets see our transfers and how the team matures.

We already have stars, though. In several positions. We don't play anything like them. We aren't building a team to play anything like them. They are shithousing to wins, which has served them well in cup competitions, but they've done horrible in the league.

Porto was a tough game, but their goal should have been disallowed. It was Liverpool reserves (with SALAH and MANE) versus our reserves. We had KRUNIC starting as our LW. So I don't agree with you.

This team is being built to dominate games, to dominate opposition, not to hang on and try to win. Maldini is trying to rebuild Milan. Not get a participation trophy.

Please show me dominance then. Forget about participation trophy, we finished bottom of group. If it’s a team with stars that is built for dominance like you said, we should be have been able to finish above at least one team. I’m happy with performance in league against direct rivals, but with title on the line you should be able to do better than the bankrupt performance against Torino.

This is what happens every CL Tues and Wednesday - question the quality of the remaining teams, talk about how Milan is going to match up

....get reminded on the weekend of where we really are.

Sam….your and brk’s reasoning is very flawed

Few teams on earth are better built than Bayern… they just got ass blasted by Villareal.

Plans are great but you need to seize the opportunity. If we keep sticking stubbornly to #dApLaN there’s a chance that at the end of the 3 year cycle we end up with jack shit

Traore gotta be one of the most common surnames.
 Ironically, It’s my mother’s name.

Btw, I just learned a few weeks back that he is the older brother of Amad Diallo who went from Atalanta to utd for ridiculous money.

Milan's owners didn't need to take out a loan to buy their club, your owners did. Elliott could buy and sell the Glazers 10 times lol.

The games against Atletico didn't count for anything for you? Those were dominant performances? You're going to say games against Porto where we had to start FBT, Tata, Krunic, are reflective of Milan's quality? Of it's potential?

Building does not mean finished. The team isn't going to be built like Villareal, which is 7th in La Liga mind you, looks like they won't be going to the CL dance next year, so why should we use Villareal as a model?

You want to talk about bankrupt performances, cool. Bayern lost a team 7th in La Liga. They've also gotten smashed by bottom half sides, consistently this year. So, you want to talk about singular performances to describe an entire team? Cool. Bayern lost to 12th placed Bochum, 4-2, relegation flirters Augsburg, they lost 5-0 to Monchengladbach (11th).

Teams have bad performances. Unfortunately, we had one against Torino. Cannot dwell on it, gotta move on. But I'm talking about the potential of this squad.

I'd ask you questions, but I figure none of you guys want to answer any of them.

And with those guys we are in... lemme check here... one second, oh, we're in first place.

Man Utd, having spent, wait for it, lemme check, a billion? Yes, a billion. Same as Man City? Same as Man City. Wow. They are in, lemme check. 7th. Yikes.

Yikes. Messias has 5 goals this season in half the minutes that Jadon Sancho has, and he cost... 85m Euros.

If only we could be like... Manchester United. Learning new things every day.

Wait. Do you want us to spend like there's no tomorrow? Or follow the Villareal plan? Because Villareal play like shit. Don't you hate Allegri? You want us to play like Allegri now?

Nagelsman got tactically destroyed by Emery, he literally played into his hands. He isolated his wingers, making them play as psuedo-wingbacks, Sane in particular suffered, he trusted Upamecano, who Kalulu is twice the player than. Bayern fans are livid, and they should be.

so why did they buy an ex DHL delivery guy as their starting winger? While united signed a 100m player just because they can.

They might have been a flop club, but man can they feed their fans transfer hunger.

Btw united the last 10 years: 1 epl, 1 FA cup, 2 supercup and 1 europa league

Ac milan: 1 supercup

You keep creating stuff for yourself - where did I say we should model ourselves on Villarreal? I said we should learn some things about putting up a fight, esp against a superior opponent. The only game we played well in groups was the one we won against Atletico. We didn’t dominate any other games.

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
Just chill will ye. Was Milan’s log awaited Champions league campaign going to be an instant success of course not.

Was it disappointing yes. There were poor decisions that cost Milan but the team too most of whom had no European experience were overwhelmed by the occasion and what was on the line.

They will learn from it and perform better the more they play in the champions league. Remember building a modern competitive squad for CL takes time and considering Milan’s financial restraints they are doing quite well.

Not so long ago even getting into the CL seemed implausible - enjoy the fact that Milan will be participating in it again next year and with a stronger squad.

Followed by an improvement each year in terms of play and squad quality each year they play in it. All in good time

Forza Milan

Your banter era started later than ours, but it's okay, you are now City's little brother.

Our DHL guy did better than your waste of money, lol. That's like "oh yeah?! Your stupid crap car WORKS?! Well, my Rolls Royce? It... won't start, so who is stupid now!?"

You know what? Qaas, it's Ramadan and I'm trying to be nice. Don't make me be meaner.

My man there's no need to stress on this.

Banter united smashed ac daplan just last year at San siro in great Thursday night football.

All other anecdotes someone concocts are laughable.
